Good morning and Happy Thursday! Hope you all are having a great week! We have enjoyed the first lazy days of summer vacation and I made an effort on the first day of summer to sit down with the kiddos and put together a summer bucket list! These are always so fun for us! We accomplished a lot on last year’s list, but there were some things we didn’t get to! Excited to have those on the list this year and make an effort to make them happen!

Had a crazy day that involved a trip to ER for nothing SO extremely grateful for that! Excited to share all the other great things that are happening around here!

Happy Wednesday my friends! My gosh – we had a 3 year preschool celebration this morning and we have nearly 2 days of school left until SUMMER BREAK! I really am excited to enjoy some lazy days around here, but it is all so bittersweet! I feel like the school year flew by!

Today, I’m sharing a day in the life post – as I always mention, these are my absolute favorite posts! I love looking back on these to see how things have changed/stayed the same/what was happening and I really love reading other bloggers DIL posts too (I’m nosy like that!).

Happy Tuesday! Sharing our weekend review today and you can come back tomorrow to check out a Day in the Life post! We were spoiled with BEAUTIFUL weather all last week – even into the weekend! My body is still recovering from multiple days of A LOT of movement! Here are some highlights from the weekend!

Oh my goodness, I have no clue how I am awake to write this! I have taken an unintentional hiatus from blogging and am truly happy to be back writing today! Everything is going well over here, just been very busy and very tired by the end of the day – which is when I write my posts normally! Sometimes, it is so important to just drop one thing off your plate and unfortunately that was my blog for the short time being. I needed to re-prioritize my life and given the kiddos, our home, some invite work and providing flowers for eggshell land – not stressing myself out about blogging helped me get through those times!

I do want to be more intentional about how I utilize my time and the hobbies/businesses that I work so hard to keep all together. Constantly working to be in a better routine and better organized, but soooo many different things can throw a wrench in the plans. I just need to learn to roll with the punches and unload items that might be weighing me down! Anyway, enough about my unintentional break, here is a look at what has been happening in our lives recently!

Hello again friends! I’ve been on an unintentional blogging hiatus. Sheesh, life moves fast and we’ve been trying to keep up the past couple weeks. Between some sick kiddos, being sick myself and just adjusting to different changes that have been going on (all good things!) I needed to put blogging on the back burner. I lost my voice for about a week and a half, so happy to finally have that back and the kiddos back in school consistently!

It’s almost the weekend! I think I’m in desperate need for the weekend! Andrew was gone on a work trip from Sunday-Tuesday evening, I decided to launch my new business AND it’s just been a lot! So many things I still need to take care of and hoping to do some of those behind the scenes items this weekend! On Tuesday, I had on my calendar to take pictures for a day in the life post. Finally getting around to sharing today!

This day was seriously filled with a whole lot of nothing – but, that’s what these posts are all about – sharing the uneventful because this is real life! It was not a typical day as I spent most of my time trying to get business stuff figured out so that explains how I only had literally 8,000 steps, yikes!

I was BEAT this morning as were the kiddos…hit that snooze button a TON!

I’m dying… looking back at some of these pictures – its cringe-worthy!! But then I reminisce about some pretty awesome times in life! Here’s what I was able to conveniently dig up!

Lent is here and it serves as a time to grow closer to Christ in love and sacrifice. Back in my teenage years, I used to give up something like chocolate or TV, but it wasn’t until I was a little older that it hit me, lent should also be a time where you DO MORE for Christ. While abstaining from something is extremely important (we fast every Friday), striving to be better servants to Christ and to those around us, praying MORE and becoming stronger spiritually during the Lenten season will ultimately carry over into our everyday lives, which is the goal!
