Welcome to My Two Cents Blog!

Hey everyone! My name is Lisa – wife to my grade school sweetheart, mom of 3 kiddos, employee of our residence, full time childcare provider for our children and creator of my own invitation and floral business. 

As a child, I used to write in a journal EVERY.SINGLE.DAY for years and years! I mean, I can tell you exactly what I did and when, so this blog seems to bring back the kid back in me! I LOVE sharing anything and everything pertaining to our household. The focus of Lisa’s Two Cents is on budgeting, looks for less, homemaking, recipes, gardening and tips and tricks regarding family, lifestyle and being a stay at home mom!

I love a good deal and to save money (thanks, Mom), so my goal is that I can share some of my own tips, tricks and items I find/swear by with you! Spending less does not mean you have to compromise looking “glam-less”. Simplicity, practicality and a realistic approach on life is my number one goal as you look into the daily life of my family and our home!
