It’s the last Wednesday of the month, and that means- MY FAVORITE POST! I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers Mix & Match Mama and Sheaffer Told Me To to share what has been happening around here!

Life has been very busy. It was not a “typical” summer by any stretch of the imagination. We dealt with the passing of my sister-in-law that fought for 14 months. We miss her dearly and life is just not the same. Please keep my brother and the kids in your thoughts and prayers as they continue navigating their lives without Stef here. Everyday is so precious – what a blessing the day is.

I wanted to write this month because it is truly something that brings me joy. I love reading blogs, I love blogging and wish I was structured enough to knock out blogging on a consistent schedule!

What We’re Eating This Week…

This week has been lasagna, tacos and pork tenderloin. We’ll probably round out the week with some sort of chicken and steak!

We are hosting Audrey’s “friend” birthday party Saturday and then a joint birthday party for Tommy and Audrey with our families on Sunday! Party food it is! Which speaking of, I need to button up the menu…

What I’m Reminiscing About…

Good times with my sister in law. Her birthday is coming up and it makes me think of all the times we shared together.

What I’m Loving…

A routine. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the freedom of summer and we all deserved every minute of lazy days and impromptu fun, BUT the sense of routine has been good for everyone!

I do love Audrey’s locker this year! It’s a big year for her changing classes and whatnot in upper hall!

What We’ve Been Up To…

All the things. We tried rounding out summer in the best way possible, crossing things off the kiddos summer bucket list.

We bedazzled! We learned more about caring for horses and started helping out neighbor next door!

What I’m Dreading…

House projects that have been put off! One of them being closet clean outs for all of us. I will be happy once a decent amount of clothing is donated or shipped away!

What I’m Working On…

Getting ready to host two parties this weekend…

And flowers sprinkled in between!

Audrey is still making bag charms and her Etsy shop is up and running if you’re looking for a fun little accessory for your bookbag, purse or luggage bags! These would make great gifts for teachers, family and friends!

What I’m Excited About…

Our games this upcoming weekend! Volleyball and two flag football games!

This time of year! I love the summer/fall time frame. The smells, the clothes, the fun ahead in the months of August-October!

What I’m Watching/Reading…

When will I ever be able to read. Honestly, what am I doing wrong that I cannot read a book.

Audrey and I have been watching an episode or two of That’s So Raven before bed and have really enjoyed it!

What I’m Listening To…

The crickets outside – the best time of year. Open window nights!

What I’m Wearing…

I don’t have a picture of me wearing these shorts but I love them so much! I own them in every color!

What I’m Doing This Weekend…

The parties. Big birthday month!
