Day in the Life – May ’22

Happy Wednesday my friends! My gosh – we had a 3 year preschool celebration this morning and we have nearly 2 days of school left until SUMMER BREAK! I really am excited to enjoy some lazy days around here, but it is all so bittersweet! I feel like the school year flew by!

Today, I’m sharing a day in the life post – as I always mention, these are my absolute favorite posts! I love looking back on these to see how things have changed/stayed the same/what was happening and I really love reading other bloggers DIL posts too (I’m nosy like that!).

Okay, let’s jump into our Tuesday!

Good morning! the snooze button was hit a couple times!

Such a beautiful morning sky! I LOVE summer mornings!

I was on my phone a bit checking my flower farming insta account.

Then started my wordle…

Not my best day!

Headed downstairs to admire my carpet cleaning handiwork in the playroom!

And to let doggie out – sat down for a little bit and enjoyed the morning!

Then inside to unload the dishwasher…

And load the dishwasher…

Prep items needed for school…

This was an easy lunch – leftovers from the night before!

Then up to get the kiddos up!

One of my favorite views in the house!

Took a quick shower, blew dry my hair and put my fav moisturizer on!

It was pajama day at school so it was easy to get ready! We brushed teeth, ate breakfast and loaded up – off to school we go!

After drop off it was back home with these two!

Breakfast for me now…

And coffee with my helper

Then we went to the playroom to play

Then we did some laundry…

I had an invite order to button up, so I let Tommy watch TV

Until it was time to go run a couple errands and pick JP up from preschool (he stayed for lunch bunch!)

First up, the pool store…

Then to grab a slice of pizza for lunch!

Enjoyed the pizza in the parking lot!

Then we got JP and came home to a soil/mulch delivery!

Reunited and they are both happy about it!

Then it was back into my “work boots” to do some outside work.

First up this pool! I picked up the opening chemicals to start cleaning it up!

Then went to move some dirt with the help of these guys!

Then back inside to finish up some edits

Up for nap time…

This little girlie was tuckered out!

She passed out on his floor

I went down to finish up some laundry

And unload the dishwasher…

Went back up to check and these two were still passed out!

Time for my afternoon snack

Then time to get sissy off the bus!

Once sissy was home it was a flurry of cleaning bathrooms (the kids made the bathroom a muddy mess) and preparing for the Indians game my friend invited us to join her and her husband to!

My mother-in-law came over to watch the kiddos – I got ready real quick then headed over to my girlfriends house to drive downtown with them.

Andrew had drinks with a client downtown so we just met him at a bar!

Then over the the Indian’s game to enjoy these incredible seats! Such a perfect night

After the game it was home and off to bed!
