SUMMER IS HERE! While school ending and graduation can take an emotional toll on me – I did okay and I think it’s because I’m ready to enjoy summer and the kiddos. They’ve been pumped about summer and I’m relieved to not have to answer the question, “Mom, how many days until summer?” every. single. day.

Yesterday was the first day of summer and it went surprisingly well! It was a chillier day so we eased into our day lounging in the morning and drcided to make our summer bucket list! I will be sharing all things summer related on the blog this week, so come on back and check it out! I thought it would be fun to kick off summer sharing our summer must-have list! I shared a list in 2021.

First up, I plan to incorporate some quiet learning time into our days this summer. I don’t want the kiddos to forget everything they have learned and it is a great way to add a little functional rest time to our day. We are CONSTANTLY outside during the summer – playing nonstop, which is amazing, but I do want to keep the kiddos challenged from a learning perspective.

They have already enjoyed doing it so far!

These shorts are an absolute must have – I love the colors!

Obsessed with this bag. Will be perfect to transport all our goods all summer long. Easy to clean and big enough to hold items for the 4 (or all 5) of us! The bag comes in a bunch of bright fun colors!

These sunscreen sticks are my fav! Just restocked my summer stash! Easy to grab and go and apply without a huge mess!

This brand of Icees is a summer MUST HAVE! We stock up on these – they come in the best variety of bold flavors. We always have these in our freezer!

Yogurt is one of our fav snacks around here. We like to deck it out with our favorite granolas and of course – SPRINKLES!

We love the birthday cake granola – the perfect little snack.

I’ve also been digging this Key lime granola! So refreshing!

These goggles are a must have for the kiddos!

I’ve shared these about a million times, but these pool floats are just the absolute best!

Love how he’s not using them in the pic BUT I wanted to share how easy they are to store – roll them up and put in your deck storage container.

Summer must have in the garden – these are BRIGHT blinking red lights, but they have kept the deer away from my sunflowers!

I also just restocked this shampoo for myself and the kiddos…

And like to protect my swimwear with this solution! I’ve used this for almost two years now and love it!

And there you have it, a random list of items, but things we’re loving in summer!
