Hello again friends! I’ve been on an unintentional blogging hiatus. Sheesh, life moves fast and we’ve been trying to keep up the past couple weeks. Between some sick kiddos, being sick myself and just adjusting to different changes that have been going on (all good things!) I needed to put blogging on the back burner. I lost my voice for about a week and a half, so happy to finally have that back and the kiddos back in school consistently!

Kielbasa sheet pan dinner, Tacos, Salmon, Breakfast for dinner! Same old same old!

Spring Things
It is one of my favorite times of the year – when we start to hear the spring peepers! It gives me a taste of summer! Also loving that some things are starting to bloom in the garden – a sign of amazing things to come!
What We’ve Been Up To…
NEW ADDITION TO THE FAMILY (NOT PREGNANT!!)
Keeping busy! We randomly were chatting about dogs one Saturday morning and ended up finding the newest addition to our family! We are sooo excited and the kiddos can’t wait to bring her home! In the meantime – trying to get the house ready and read some books on how to raise a good pup!
Big Girl Status – First Lost Tooth!
This little lady FINALLLY lost her first tooth. She has been really nervous to pull it out because she didn’t want it to hurt so when I tell you this thing was hanging on by a thread I MEAN IT! JP was spinning around with his sweatshirt, accidentally hit her face and it knocked her tooth right out! haha!

Spring practices
I sound like such a debbie downer, but these night practices this time of the year can be so annoying. One day it feels like summer, the next it’s cold and snowing. I am just SO SICK of the cold! Excited for all the little activities though!

What I’m Working On…
House Organizing
I have been trying to get the house organized before puppy arrives. I know I’ve shared this before, but I am an organized disorganized person. If I don’t have a FINAL destination for something, it sits out and waits until I have proper storage unit. I do feel our house IS pretty organized – but there are areas that can be improved. Making more of an effort these next couple weeks to remove things from our home that are not serving us.
Flowers
I’ve been trying to get things going with the flower business and have been able to provide some good florals to the local farm I am working with! Our weather has been crazy weird (unseasonably cold for a long stretch of days with snow thrown in!) so I am waiting for my tulip bed to go crazy – PATIENCE!

Looking forward to warmer days ahead! I cannot believe summer is almost here! So much to look forward too! Going to be wild once school is let out next month!

Nothing else is new other than after Easter Break for the kiddos, it is OFF TO THE RACES with end of the school year festivities!

Wow, “organized disorganized person” really hit home! I think that’s me–there are disorganized pockets of every room because I don’t know exactly where I want those things to go. Big virgo energy but with a dash of something else that keeps me from being TOO organized!
