Good morning – Happy SPRING and happy MONDAY!! Today I have some big and exciting news to share with you all! I’ve been spending a lot of time working on things behind the scenes, bothering family with voting and questions and I am so happy to finally have that all solidified!

I’m pleased to share my small scale flower farming journey with all of you – Sherman Acres Floral!

Still working on launching a website (need to figure out what I want to do there), but to start I got my social media account up and running! Annuals

I am SOOOO EXCITED for the upcoming season! My seedlings are rockin’ and I am having awesome success with germination compared to last year!

I am “hardening off” some of them and excited to get them into their designated homes. Speaking of…

My brother was over last night and helped me TREMENDOUSLY with my garden beds! I cannot thank him enough it was such a huge help! I am so excited for these beds!

In my current garden bed I have my tulips pushing through! I know I’ve mentioned this many times, but I need them to start blooming in the next couple weeks if possible! I am supplying them to a local farm up the street and really hope they will be ready on time!

Perennials

I have my perennial tulips and daffodils almost ready to bloom!

Crocus are blooming – such little cuties!

I also went and cut back my Lime Light and Firelight Hydrangeas! You prune those in late winter/early spring.

Super easy to do! I pinched back about 18″

Bouquets

No bouquets OBVI – BUUUUUTTTT I have been playing around with some flowers to form some mock ups when my tulips bloom! I am offering Easter and Mother’s Day bouquets and I cannot wait to share those with you! Such beautiful specialty tulips to be shared!
