Friday Favorites – 03.05.21

This week had me CRAVING Spring! I’m so excited for this big change in season. Daylight Savings Time is just around the corner (gimme all the sunshine, please!), we find ourselves outside a little more, early bloomers are pushing through the soil – just so many amazing things! This week gave me a little taste of all those things!

Of course, I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers to share some Friday Favorites with you all!

Link up with Andrea and Erika

I wanted to share this from the other day, because this is exactly what I needed on that particular day (and obviously all other days to follow).

Change of Scenery

Happy to get in our first family walk of 2021!

The boys love to be outside! It’s so great to watch them run around and discover all their toys that were left behind in the garage all winter long! Audrey loves to play outside too, but she is a total freeze baby and will bail pretty quickly.

…while they played around a bit, I did my daily scan of my garden beds! I desperately check to see if any green is coming through and I found some new life all around!

Some Larkspur making its appearance!

Some daffodils, hyacinths and tulips pushing through!

These snapdragons have stayed green all winter which is shocking. Snaps are technically annuals but I always find this particular variety coming back.

Also ready to expand and grow this spot!

Bye, Bye Baby

Speaking of change…I accidentally got off to a terrible start cutting Tommy’s hair so I had to just go through and nearly buzz the whole thing. At first, Andrew and I were so upset (it was the best hair), but now we’re used to it and actually really digging it! Only thing I’m not digging, is how big this little guy is getting. Time, please slow up a bit.

Here are his wild locks before…

Spring Decor

I shared my inexpensive spring decor and have been obsessed with these tulips

This year I’ve gone pink and pastel in our dining room- shhh… don’t tell my husband.

Boredom Busters – Week 7

We’ve been continuing to share some indoor activity ideas for you on a weekly basis. This week we had to get our pine cone bird feeders up and running again. The pine cones were completely picked clean.

We already had our spa/hair salon night!

Also, if you haven’t bought spring/summer clothes for your kiddos yet, be sure to check out Jumping Beans brand at Kohl’s! You can read all about my twice a year shopping haul. I spent around $60 for all the pieces shown below:

Hope you have a beautiful weekend! So many amazing days ahead!!

I remember making those pinecone bird seed feeders as a kid! So fun! I also loved playing with snap dragons as a kid. I remember the first time my mom showed me that if you took the flower off you could make it look like a dragon “snapping” it’s mouth & I have loved doing it ever since haha. I hope you have a great weekend!

Aww, thank Brianne! I know so many of the things I do now are things/activities I used to love as a kid! I hope you had an awesome weekend!

Isn’t it amazing how each hair cut makes them look so much older?! Love all that time you are getting to spend outside and that new growth is poking out of the ground! We don’t have that yet but I know it’s coming…

Oh my goodness cuteness overload! Your babies are so cute! My daughter loves makeup too and is always looking up tutorials. I think she does a better job than I do LOL!!

    I love your spring decor!

Thanks Natalie! Same here! I feel like my 5yo daughter has a better understanding of how to apply make-up than I do, ha!
