Thrifty Thursday – Spring Toddler Clothing Haul

It’s Thrifty Thursday!! It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these, but today I’m sharing how I shop for my kids clothing. I shared a toddler clothing capsule on Black Friday because that’s when I do a MAJOR winter clothing haul at Kohl’s. I absolutely love the Jumping Beans brand – it’s affordable, very basic and has ALL the essentials!

Don’t get me wrong – I love finding cute little pieces of clothing from Target, Old Navy, Walmart, TJ Maxx, Carters, etc…but I have found that my kids love comfort and it is SO easy to doctor up the basics! Making sure I have all the staples of the closet is my main goal of this haul.

I do two seasonal clothing hauls every year – spring (to prep for warm weather and summer!) and Black Friday. I obviously look out for big time sales at the end of the season and stock up on those items for the following year, but those are generally random pieces of clothing.

When I do these hauls, I go through the kids’ closets and take inventory of what we have for the upcoming season. My daughter has grown like a weed this past year and all her pants were WAYYY too short! I pretty much have to restock everything which was so crazy to me!

Sharing my go-to Jumping Beans goodies that can go with anything or be dressed up/down! All you need are a handful of tops and bottoms, some pieces of clothing that go with everything (i.e. jeans, khakis, etc.) and it’s mix and matching all summer long! One thing I love about Jumping Beans is all the color options they have (My daughter loves pink and my son is blue and grey, shown below, but they have SOO many more colors to chose from) and you can really mix and match anything!
