Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is a Let’s Look prompt where we link up with Shay from Mix and Match Mama blog and Erica from A Little Bit of Everything blog. I’m super excited about all the topics this year – they are just so creative and fun! So kind of them to do these link up parties!

Today’s topic is, my worst habits, boy do I have a bunch of those! There are several that come to mind right away and it makes me laugh that I’m so aware of them and still so terrible at making the necessary changes in my life!

Oh my goodness…summer can just S L O W up right about now! We’ve been making the most of it and have been extremely busy! I’ve been trying to be super present with the kiddos and the family and really have enjoyed our time together!

Sharing our Summer Routine and Schedule

It’s the day before the first OFFICIAL day of summer and I am so excited to share some summer fun posts with you! A month ago, the kids and I sat down to chat about our new summer routine and what we wanted our summer to look like this year! I am the type of Mom that NEEDS a structured plan in order to get something accomplished. If I don’t have a game plan, we can fly through a day and look back and ask ourselves, what the heck did we even do today?!

In an effort to make summer fun and memorable (we get limited summer with these kiddos – especially these ages), we put together a summer schedule to encourage us to have the most amazing summer! I’m also sharing a very loose summer routine that I try to follow if I can! It helps give some form to our days and the structure is truly helpful for all of us!

June 2023 Garden Update

Well, it’s been a bit since I’ve shared a garden update with you! I was working super hard over the past couple weeks to flip some beds and get the summer annuals seeded ASAP as I feel I’m really behind! Some things have hit the ground running (hey, hey weeds….) and others are slowly but surely getting established! It is hard to be patient this time of the season because June is truly a TWEENER month. The end of July is when all the action happens so, it can be tough to be patient!

Prime Time – Recent Amazon Purchases – June ‘23

Good morning friends and happy Tuesday! After a crazy end of May – with flowers, school graduation, activities – all the things and a 5 day getaway with my husband to Hawaii – I am grateful to be back and have our summer break OFFICIALLY begin with the kiddos and now fall into a normal summer routine around here!

The kids and I came up with a really neat schedule for the summer and I could not be more excited about it. Over the past couple years, I struggled with managing my time, kiddo time, the household needs, and my “business needs”. Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t perfected managing all these things yet, but I am starting to understand where my priorities should truly be and am becoming more mindful on how to achieve all these things without burning myself out! Friday Favorites – 05.19.23

Good morning and happy Friday, friends! My gosh, we are one step closer to summer over here – I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!

While May has kicked my rear side so far, I am excited to fall into more of a relaxed routine around here! Flowers, events and sports have been keeping us busy – along with trying to get some projects done – all good things but often time they get interrupted.
