Friday FALL Favorites – 11.19.21

In the spirit of fall, I thought it would be fun to share my favorite FALL related things every Friday of this month! Join along with me if you’re interested! What a fun way to recognize the change in seasons!

Of course, I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers to share some Friday Favorites with you all!

How on earth is Thanksgiving next week?! My daughter asked how many days until Christmas – 36 – holy cow 2021 has FLOWN! I’ve been spending a lot of time on gift guides and will post most of them next week. How is your Christmas shopping going? I’m trying to knock things off my list little by little but still have a lot of family to buy for.

FALL Favs from the week!

This weekend we did a major house clean. I feel like things build up so much and I’ve just been slacking in the homemaking department. My husband and I had a good conversation about getting things in line around here and making sure the house is picked up at the end of the night. Taking the time to put things away right then and there makes all the difference.

One other thing we discussed was making sure we are giving our kiddos our undivided attention – especially during these little years where they actually want to play with us. I took the three kiddos out to lunch this week (we kept Audrey home a couple days) and I also made more of an effort to ask her to do something. I picked coloring and she was pumped!

I will say – it was kinda therapeutic!

Weather has been crazy! Snow one day then 65 degrees the next… We loved waiting for sissy to get off the bus!

The boys played in the last remains of snow while we waited

We dropped off our old library stash and grabbed some new ones!

All three spidey friends were saving the day around the house!

We made a trip to Walmart EXCLUSIVELY to look at gift ideas – no purchases because Santa needs to know what is on the wish list!

Well, back to snow – we had this last weekend…

Then this weather this week…

..and here we are today…

Fav FALL Clothing from the week…

Loving this quarter zip...

And this light blue collared sweater was a total fav too!

Fav FALL Foodie from the week…

Trying to eliminate certain coffee creamers from my diet and working on making my own “healthier” concoction!

This chicken recipe was unbelievably quick and pretty tasty!

1 italian dressing seasoning packet
1/2 c parmesan cheese
1 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp bread crumbs (you can omit if needed)

I like to use thin cut chicken breast – it cooks quicker and I get grossed out by thick chicken!
We cooked it in our air fryer for about 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees.

I needed to snap a pick of this delish roast beef sandwich from our local deli – omg!

In the Garden this week…

I finally got my tulip bulbs in – you can check out what I’ve been doing here.

I also ordered more tulips to plant in containers to sell so the next couple weeks, you can find me in my garage…

I cut back my mums and stuck them in crates in the garage to over winter.

At our garden club meeting this month we made fresh holiday arrangements. It was so much fun!
