It’s Friday!! Last week Andrew and I were enjoying our last full day in Hawaii which was amazing, but I know we both say – it was nice to be back home to the kids and in our routine!

After a crazy end of May – with flowers, school graduation, activities – all the things and a 5 day getaway with my husband to Hawaii – I am grateful to be back and have our summer break OFFICIALLY begin with the kiddos and now fall into a normal summer routine around here!
The kids and I came up with a really neat schedule for the summer and I could not be more excited about it. Over the past couple years, I struggled with managing my time, kiddo time, the household needs, and my “business needs”. Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t perfected managing all these things yet, but I am starting to understand where my priorities should truly be and am becoming more mindful on how to achieve all these things without burning myself out! Good morning! I hope you had an amazing long weekend! Not gunna lie I’m bouncing back from a rough week! My husband was out of town all last week – so I was riding solo – and on top of it, JP and I came down with some sickness. I’m pretty sure he had croup, me, I was just tired and fatigued.
Anyway – we are refreshed and on the upswing (hopefully no one else gets sick), but tis the season I suppose!

Hey, hey, hey and happy Wednesday! These weeks are just flying right on by! I laughed with the kiddos – I feel winter break has just extended into January! The kids had a four day week last week and now another one this week! We’re basically part time school over here!
Anyway, today I am sharing a family favorite around here – lemon butter chicken. It is so simple and very tasty!
