Weekend Rewind: 10/20/20

This post was supposed to come at you yesterday, but after a weekend of celebrating JP’s 3rd Birthday THEN feeling fatigued and weak Sunday, which carried over into yesterday – it didn’t happen. Needless to say we have some sort of bug over here, but hoping all will be okay this week and our families too.

JP’s Birthday!

Why not share some bright spots from our weekend!

To celebrate JP’s birthday, we took him out to lunch! It was so sweet to see how much he loved the day being all about him!

This lunch view was beautiful in every way!!

Speaking of beautiful views – this is my absolute favorite view in the house! During the fall and winter, the sun hits this front room different and I just love sitting here and looking out!

I had fun actually getting dressed out of sweats!

While he was napping, we assembled his gift! We put all his new trucks in and covered it up then walked him out to surprise him after nap time!

This sandbox was very easy to assemble and a very good price! It came with a cover as well. We used 8 – 50lb bags of play sand from Home Depot to fill it up.

So so sweet!

He was very shocked and didn’t say to much outside, but when we were changing inside he yelled up to Andrew and I – “Thank you Mom and Dad” UGH! my heart melted – so so sweet that little guy!

Trunk or Treat

After JP opened his gift, we head to a local community center to participate in their trunk or treat event! The kids had such a good time! The line was packed, so it did take a while to get candy but we unbuckled the kiddos let them stick their heads out the sunroof and chit chat with their cousins in the car in front of us!

The kiddos went as The Incredibles! They nailed the pose here!

Party Day!

We then had our family over to celebrate JP’s birthday! I did not have my phone on me the entire day so of course I didn’t get any good pictures to post! SO BUMMED! But my husband got some decent ones!

We tried a seafood boil for the first time and it was pretty good! Fun to watch!

I bought this banner on Amazon – totally worth it! So inexpensive and made for awesome/easy party decor!

I wish I got a close up of my Death by Chocolate dessert, but I added some construction trucks to the top to make it look like a construction site -thought that was fun for my chocolate loving guy!

Hope you have a great Tuesday! Send prayers for us as we try to parent 3 kiddos and rest simultaneously! Will try to set the kids up with some fun crafts/activities that will keep them busy and not bore the heck out of them!
