Thrifty Thursday – Garage Sale Finds

Today I’m sharing a handful of recent garage sale finds with you! I’ve found some really neat things in the home decor department that I am excited about! A couple things are work in progress, but I’ll show you the before and share the after once the project is complete!

Blue Willow Dishes

I love the blue and white pottery and when I found these plates for $.50 a piece, I snatched them up! I’m kicking myself for not grabbing the dinner plates, but I made this work using my Fiesta ware to help me out!

This china lightens my mood and I just love the colors!

Star Basket

This was $2 and has a nice gold shimmer to it! It serves as a decor piece, basket and I plan on throwing some flower arrangements in here! This sits on one of our shelves in our living room – there is plenty of space to fill, this is what I’m working with!

Wooden “H” Letter

The perfect little accent and fill in on our living room shelf! $0.25
The woman was selling letters that spelled out JOSEPH but someone had already taken the E so any letter was up for grabs! Also grabbed a “J” for JP’s room!

Little Tikes Gardening Set

Such an awesome random find – $4! Who knew us gardeners would stumble across this! The kids love it and can wheel it around the yard, water plants using the squirt gun it comes with and plant flowers on it!

Audrey Room Decor

We snagged this little decor piece for her nightstand for $0.25! She loved it and said it matched her room perfectly, which it does!

What if I told you everything on pictured (besides the cross and nightlight sheep) were from a garage sale?! In fact, when I think about her room – 75% is from a garage sale – painted or repurposed somehow!

Wooden Paper Sorter

I LOVE this! My Mom found this for $2 and it matches our living room decor perfectly! I can’t wait to show you how I re purpose this item!

Tiered Metal Stand

I’ve been searching for a furniture piece that can withstand any warping from the weather in our gazebo. I LOVE this piece! Still need to fill it and arrange the speaker system better, but so pleased with this find! $10
