Thrifty Thursday – Everyday Decor Turned Seasonal

Sharing some thrifty Thursday finds that I highlighted in my Instagram stories!

My house during the Christmas season is my favorite! The lights, the greenery, the glitter – I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I sometimes wonder why I don’t and why it is socially unacceptable to leave the decor out year round!

Speaking of year round, today I am sharing some decor hacks with you, inexpensive decorations and ways to use them! I stopped into the Dollar Tree and Walmart to pick up a couple items to add to our Christmas Tree this year and ended up finding some super cute things that I wanted to incorporate around the house!

As most of you know by now, I LOVE the Dollar Tree – I mean, I am always finding something in there and always want to challenge myself to find ways to use those items! Also, Walmart has some of the cutest things in the seasonal section now a days, so I grabbed a couple additional picks and sprays to help complete my home decorating!

Dollar Tree/Walmart Finds

Poinsettia clips – $1 each – I clipped these on our railing garland

These gold/champagne gold glitter sprays are a perfect accent for your Christmas tree or garland.

Cute gold glitter pine cone and leaf picks. Again, can be added to your tree, garland, wreath, on a shelf really anywhere to add a little different texture and color to your decor!

Walmart $.98 a pick

Love these pine cone clips so much! So easy to use – I clipped these to the garland on my staircase.

These were added to my garland which you can see in the picture above!

Inserted these champagne gold eucalyptus sprays all throughout my Christmas tree.

Again, I love adding clip ons to my existing everyday decor to make it more seasonal. I clipped these to some dried eucalyptus I keep up all year near our mud room.

I also added these gold clip flowers to this decor piece on my hearth with the burgundy poinsettia clips ons (from Walmart – sharing below!) as well.

I picked up a couple bunches of these gold poinsettias (the picture does not do it justice – swear!). I cut off each stem from the bunch to add around our tree.

This cute sign – for $1 – yes please!! I thought it would be super cute on one of my shelves that was lacking Christmas decor.

I am so into the bottle brush trend, but did find they were a little pricey. I did my coffee stand using Target bottle brushes and LOVE them! I thought these little miniature trees served as a great knockoff $.50 a piece as opposed to $1 – $5 a piece.

I’m thinking I might incorporate these in our little nativity set or on some shelves in the kitchen – don’t worry, I will find a place for them!

In case you missed the coffee stand decor post – here it is again. These bottle brushes were from Target and match my kitchen perfectly!

Hope this was helpful for you and you were able to get some decor inspiration in order to decorate your home for the holidays!
