Happy JUNE! We had some extremely chilly weather this past weekend and it put a damper on our summer vibes, but we’re back to normal temps and enjoying these longer, warmer, sunshiney days. This weekend was also crazy busy, so I’m finally getting settled in and back in the blogging flow this week. Since it’s June, I figured I would share our Summer Travel Bucket List.

Cedar Point

We are looking forward to spending the day at Cedar Point and enjoying the beach/pools at the Breakers Hotel! They have package deals where you can save on park admission when you book a room. One amazing perk when booking a hotel/amusement park package is early entry into the park! That is an amazing perk especially if you have little kiddos!

Higgins Lake

There is no better way to finish out summer then to head up to Higgins Lake. Our family invited us to join them at their friends cabin and we’ve been going up ever since. Such a gorgeous lake, crystal clear warm water – we cannot wait for that trip!

Speaking of Northern Michigan….
Not sure if this would happen, but it’s a bucket list item…

Traverse City Wineries

Since Higgins is not too far from Traverse City, I would LOVE to take a day trip up to the Traverse Wine Coast Wineries. Last year, we went up to Traverse for my friend’s bachelorette party and did a wine bus tour. It was thee most stunning landscape – I could not believe we were in MICHIGAN! I would love to take a trip up there in August, but we shall see! Here is a picture of one of my favorites – Chateau Chantal

Last but not least…

Presque Isle

We plan to take a day trip here to hit up the beach and possibly rent bikes and ride around the trails! They also have Waldameer park, which is a small little water/amusement park that would be perfect for the kiddos to enjoy!
