Happy Tuesday! Today, I thought it would be fun to share all things HALLOWEEN around our house! From costumes, to traditions, to all things leading up to the day here’s a look at how we do Halloween!
Time is flying and I also feel the pressure of soaking in these sweet moments where the kiddos want to dress up, particularly in the costumes I pick! I can still get away with it with Tommy, but Audrey and JP have been very vocal this past year on what they want to be! I used to be so thrifty and find costumes at garage sales or purchase them on clearance at the end of the prior Halloween season.

We are celebrating JP’s birthday with family this weekend, we have the Halloween carnival up at school and we’re headed to a football game tonight – so I’m excited to have the favorable weather report! Happy Fall all! Honestly, it is such a bittersweet time of the year for me. I truly love our summers here in Northeast Ohio – I love the weather, the long days, gardening, being outside – all of it! Fall is an absolutely beautiful time here too, but I start to think about winter. Doing my best to embrace all that fall has to offer and forget about hibernation season.

Good morning! Today, I’m sharing a tour of my garden for September. As I sit and write this – I’m starting to get bummed the flower season is dwindling. I can’t get out and cut super early in the mornings anymore (because it’s dark) and growth/ production slows a bit when the temps start dropping. I do keep reminding myself – there is still a solid month of flowers left, but wow what a fun growing season it was!

Hi friends! After a CARAZY end of August —and I mean absolutely CRAZY – I was so thankful to actually get back on track in the life dept. and enjoy the long weekend. Audrey had off of school Friday due to the 200th county fair! They get an extra long weekend every year and it honestly is the best!
Andrew took a half day so it was off to the fair we went!
