Hello Thursday!! As with the rest of the US, we are gearing up for some heavy snowfall today. We got a wintery mix of rain/sleet and ice last night and they’ve been telling us to gear up for the snow! Trying to stay cozy and safe during the storm and also will enjoy spending the day with my crew celebrating my birthday! They are home today with a snow day!

How did another year just come and go?! It does feel like forever ago though celebrating my 30th last year! Anyway, in honor of the bday, I felt like sharing 31 things about me! I’ve been wanting to do one of these posts for a while as a little intro for any new (or existing) readers here!

1. I have a half colored eye – half green, half brown
2. I’m 5’2 (and feel like I’m shrinking, ha!) and have naturally curly hair!
3. My husband and I went to the same grade school and have known each other personally for nearly 20 years
4. We went to all the homecomings and both proms together (as we went to different high schools)
5. I played collegiate golf
6. I’m a procrastinator
7. I’m flower obsessed – have been since I was a kid gardening with my Mom!
8. I’m obsessed with sunrises and sunsets – they are so beautiful – I always snag pictures 🙂
9. I’m the farthest thing from a dare devil – not keen of heights!
10. I’m type 6 enneagram – which explains 9! I like to feel grounded.
11. I’m not super thrilled on being a type 6, but there are some qualities I do embrace and am proud of!
12. The only way I eat an Oreo – refrigerated & doubled stuffed
13. My favorite seasons are summer and fall – I can’t pick a fav – love the long warm days of summer and love the smells and moods of fall
14. I worked in marketing at an investment bank in downtown Cleveland for 5 years prior to staying home
15. I have a side wedding invitation hustle as well – just do word of mouth advertising!
16. When I was younger I wanted to work for a magazine creating ads or different design boards
17. I’m an introverted extrovert
18. I’m athletic and really enjoy watching sports – my husband says my sports knowledge is better than most males!
19. Favorite desserts – death by chocolate and tiramisu
20. I never get full from french fries – Chic Fila and Red Robin personal favs
21. Apparently I told my parents I wanted a pet bird when I was 4 – the bird, Chipper, is still alive today…27 years old! She’s a Quaker Parakeet
22. I used to pretend I was Rachel Ray as a kid – I would come home, watch her cooking show, then make my family dinner as if I was shooting my own cooking show!
23. I have two older brothers – My mom, mother-in-law and both sister-in-laws on my husbands side of the family also grew up with only brothers
24. I was inducted into our high school hall of fame for golf
25. I thought I would make a better boy Mom and was nervous when we found out we were having Audrey – I was so wrong for thinking that!
26. I worked in the cake department of our local Dairy Queen for 7 years! Our cake dept received a national award for being the number #1 cake sellers in the country (#2 in north America)
27. Breakfast is my favorite meal – especially when someone else cooks it for you!
28. Chocolate v. Vanilla – CHOCOLATE
29. As a kid – my Dad, uncles, brothers, cousins and I used to go on a Canadian fishing trip in the middle of NO WHERE! 14 hours a way in Quebec at a completely remote location! We used to cook lunches on random shore locations filleting and cooking the fish we caught. Not the most luxurious vacation, but so many great memories!
30. I’ve never been skiing
31. The thought of space makes me feel weirdly claustrophobic? How is space so GINORMOUS!?
