What’s Up Wednesday [06.30.21]

It’s the last Wednesday of the month, and that means I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers Mix & Match Mama and Sheaffer Told Me To to share what has been happening around here! These are my favorite posts – I LOVE seeing what others have going on and love that I can look back at these someday!

What We’re Eating This Week…

Cookout food this weekend and serving up this STAR SPANGLED SWEETS BOARD!

Also this spritzer has been a crowd pleaser!

What I’m Reminiscing About

Andrew just had his birthday and I was reminiscing about how fun his 30th was!

What I’m Loving…

Early Summer Bouquets

These have been SO much fun to put together!

Playing golf!

I’ve been playing golf since I was 11 and played in college and I have been LOVING getting out to play more! Such a great sport and the perfect date night!

What We’ve Been Up To…

Summer Busy-ness

I love that there is always something happening in the summer! We are having such a fun little sleepover with my niece ! Enjoying these little years!

We spend so much time outside, which I love

So much busy that it leads to this!

Also working through this list!

Rainy and Hot

We’ve had a lot of rain roll through here recently and also some high heat – happy I haven’t had to water the plants TOO much! Kiddos have been loving the rain storms!

They’ve also been loving the heat! Doing everything we can to stay cool!

What I’m Dreading…

Full-time school next year…still – it makes me sad! Also putting my drip irrigation all together! I need to get that done now that I have all the parts! Oh and wallpaper….ugh I’ve now decided we should wallpaper our bedroom bathroom – why.

What I’m Working On…

Roadside Garden Stand

Building a roadside garden stand! I cannot wait to have a structure to hold all my blooms and draw customers in! Wish me luck! Trying to sketch up something cute and functional! Lumber is so expensive right now so I’m trying to be resourceful and even hunt for items I can use for it at garage sales!

What I’m Excited About…

Fourth of July

I LOVE July 4th and cannot wait to celebrate and watch some fireworks – particularly the ones in our backyard! Our neighbor does an amazing firework show!

What I’m Watching/Reading…

The Guest List – I had started this a while ago and never got to finishing it!

& starting this one!

Excited to start watching The Mare of Easttown

What I’m Listening To

Haven’t been listening to much recently. We’ve been so busy! We do love the Yacht Rock station on Spotify when we have people over to swim though!

What I’m Wearing…

This dress is a fav!

I’ve been loving this linen blazer!

Shorts linked here.

I’m bummed, I think they are sold out of the Sea Salt cream color…

Slide-on Sandals linked here.

But this one is cute as well!

Also love this white jean skirt! So versatile and a great length!

Love these high-waisted workout leggings and this cropped padded workout tank – the back is my favorite part!

What I’m Doing This Weekend…

We have a cookout with friends and some of their kiddos, a family get together, fireworks display in our backyard and an annual 4th party at my brother and sister-in-laws! Cannot wait!!

What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month…

More Blooms!

So ready for more blooms! Cannot wait to see the Dahlias and Zinnias bloom! Just sitting and waiting!

Cedar Point Trip

Looking forward to a quick getaway to Cedar Point! So ready for this trip will be super fun!

What Else is New??

That’s about it – heard school supplies are cheapest in July so wondering if we will get Audrey’s school supplies for the school year – not that I’m looking forward to the school year too much, ugh!!!

Your dessert board looks so delicious! You always have such pretty blooms; I’d definitely be a customer if we lived near you!
