I am SOO excited to share today’s post with you! I have been on the hunt for a new dress for some upcoming weddings we have. These dresses are awesome quality and won’t break the bank as well! I love them all and I hope this is helpful for you in case you are looking for a dress for any special occasion!
As I’ve shared before – it took me almost a decade to figure out what styles work for me. I shared in this post how important it is to know how to dress your body type. It honestly saves so much time and money!
For reference, I’m 5’2 and do have wider hips and a medium size chest. Sometimes it can be difficult to find clothing that fits and falls right so any short ladies out there reading this right now, this is for you! These dresses look incredible and really elongate the body!
Option 1
Love the color, shoulder details and length. Super simple and very comfortable!
Option 2
Okay how great is this dress. The material is so stretchy – very flattering neck line and mermaid style. Also comes in a bunch of colors!
Option 3
Love the colors on this one – I’m not a huge one shoulder fan, but I think the smocked top is the difference for me! Other designs/colors available too!
Option 4 – my fav!
Okay, this one is my personal favorite. I’m obsessed with all the little details! The tie straps, the pleated bottom, the shimmer it has throughout – gorgeous! The color surprised me too – very elegant!
It also comes in this gorgeous light blue!

This one is a little different for me, but I really wanted to share because it was surprisingly pretty!

This silk dress was very pretty! Very well made and comfortable!

Speaking of silk dresses – this one is also another top for me! Cowl necks are very flattering and I also love the colors on this dress! This one comes in a bunch of different colors too!

Sorry for the wrinkles, but this was going to be worn to a Mexico wedding that we did not end up attending š – bunch of different colors available, but I loved this one! Flattering top with sleeves!

I’m sorry, this is a Walmart dress?! This dress is so stinkin’ comfortable I love everything about it! I’m a sucker for ties at the waist on my dresses!
Feels like you’re wearing the comfiest workout clothes to a wedding!

Okay, you guys – this dress surprised me so much! Because of my height, I really don’t wear maxis – like EVER! I think the V tapered top (or is it empire waist?) makes me look taller therefore makes this work! They have a bunch of colors, personally love this tone! They also have a short sleeve option, but I actually prefer the long sleeve!

Okay, this dress surprised me! I think it would look really good on someone with a little longer torso. The back plunges a little and there is a tie up top and it ties in the back (from the cris-cross front)

Oh wow so many beautiful options! I really love option 2 because I always tend to gravitate towards darker colours plus the straps make the dress look really elegant. Option 4 is really pretty too.
