July 2022 Garden Tour

Good morning and happy Monday! We were rained out this weekend, but it was a good thing – we needed it big! I love how my garden seems to pop after a big rain! Speaking of garden – sharing some pictures from this month! I love seeing how much things grow when looking back at pictures!

Here’s a look from last month at the new flower beds!

Here it is now!

Here’s a look at how it’s going!

The first wave of sunflowers is almost ready to POP! Any day now! I also have other successions

Snapdragons are doing amazing!

Zinnias

Not entirely sure if this is a weed, but I love the look!

I’m still waiting on the glads!

Transplanted this hibiscus into this pot! I love it on the pool deck!

Put this pot together – I love the combo – verbena, lantana and sweet potato vine – soon it will be so big and cascading all over the place!

The pool bed has taken off now! I love it!

The front bed has filled in so amazing! I’ve shared this many times, but this bed started out as NOTHING – literally had like 2 plants in it! I shared my tips on designing and planting a garden bed in a post a couple years ago!

My goal of this perennial bed – to fill out and become a low maintenance spot and to have continuous blooming all seasons (sans winter – just some evergreen!)!

What’s blooming right now

I’ve been able to put together some pretty arrangements so far! Snapdragons, sunflowers, yarrow and statice are blooming right now!
