Happy Friday, everyone! I can’t believe we’re at the end of January! Spring will be here before you know it and I couldn’t be more excited! Though, I have to say, I am enjoying winter this year. I love the slow down and the coziness it brings!

Our favorite little lady looking more studious than ever!

One of my favorite spots in the house. Tommy’s room has the best window view and I love how cozy his room is!

JP got the Difference Maker Award at school for the 2nd quarter! He was absolutely shocked (and so nervous)! We could not be more proud! Definitely a FAVORITE!

Nellie’s little vest for snow play with the kids was our favorite!

The temps were in the 50’s, so I decided to open up some windows and let the “warmer” humid air in our house! All the chirping birds got me into spring spirit!

To enjoy the nice weather, I surprised the kids by picking them up from school and heading to the farm park!

I love how excited they are to see the animals!

Fav Foodie of the week…

Homemade Chipotle bowls were a hit!

Of course we always love soup around here!

Also, I think I’ve finally done it! I’ve perfected the pulled pork sandwich in our home. Before it was either too liquidy, too sweet and just not tasty! The dry rub I did on this pulled pork was it! We found that adding the sauce AFTER is the way to go, not cooking in the crockpot with the BBQ sauce!

Andrew and I had a date night and I loved this combo!

In the Garden this week…

This week (with the warmer temps), I began winter sowing with the help of my little guy! Such a blurry picture but it was from a video I was taking of him and I love his smile!!!

I also began pre-sprouting my ranunculus! I am beyond excited!
