Hey, hey, hey and happy Wednesday! These weeks are just flying right on by! I laughed with the kiddos – I feel winter break has just extended into January! The kids had a four day week last week and now another one this week! We’re basically part time school over here!
Anyway, today I am sharing a family favorite around here – lemon butter chicken. It is so simple and very tasty!

Happy Friday! We are waking up to a whole bunch of snow and a SNOW DAY! The kids are going to freak out! We haven’t had much snow so far, so I’m sure they’ll enjoy playing outside a bit today.

Happy Tuesday! Today I’m sharing our recent Amazon purchases! To remind you, our family is doing no spend January, so most of these were done prior to Christmas (I gifted myself some Christmas items)- deodorant and basketball shoes were the only items ordered this month as they were necessary purchases. WOW, the first Friday favs post of 2023! I can’t even believe it! Well, we made it through the week – I told the kiddos it wouldn’t be all that bad! I did break my heart on Wednesday – JP complained his throat was hurting and then his belly at school – turns out he was just homesick (which his teacher suspected). He just really wanted to come home! That made me so sad, it’s the first time he’s ever been visually upset at school and I guess all he needed was just one more day! It is a big transition after being home for two weeks!

Happy Friday and happy Veterans Day to all those who served and are serving in our military. How blessed we are to have such brave people who sacrifice so much so we can live free and peacefully. God bless our military and their families – saying so many extra prayers for you all today.

Happy Friday from Philly! My husband and I are here for a wedding this afternoon so we are relaxing and exploring the city until it’s go time! My husband went to college here so it’s always fun for him to come back and check it out!

He has a work meeting right now so I figure I would pop on to share our Halloween week recap! The kiddos had an absolute blast and I do love making these little holidays special for them because one day we will wake up and I’m sure they will be over it. So sad!

Good morning and happy Tuesday! I’m posting this Tip Jar Tuesday a bit late, but oh well! The kiddos had a great Halloween, the weather was beautiful, but there are still some lingering sickies in the house so we have been laying low (including myself!). Andrew and I head about of town later this week for a wedding, so I’m trying to get things in order around here before we leave!

Happy Tuesday! Today, I thought it would be fun to share all things HALLOWEEN around our house! From costumes, to traditions, to all things leading up to the day here’s a look at how we do Halloween!
Time is flying and I also feel the pressure of soaking in these sweet moments where the kiddos want to dress up, particularly in the costumes I pick! I can still get away with it with Tommy, but Audrey and JP have been very vocal this past year on what they want to be! I used to be so thrifty and find costumes at garage sales or purchase them on clearance at the end of the prior Halloween season.
