What’s Up Wednesday [01.25.23]

What We’re Eating This Week…

I’ve been loving this lunch! Costco Quinoa salad, chicken skewers, hummus and occasionally, I will turn it into a greek salad using the Mediterranean salad kit!

We meal prepped some Italian wedding soup and regular meatballs!

And enjoyed some chicken Caesar wraps!

What I’m Reminiscing About

Deciding to get a puppy and how it was the best decision our family made! We can’t believe sweet Nell is going to be ONE!

I was also thinking back to how small my garden area was and the amount of work it took to build it out and make it bigger!

What I’m Loving…

I shared my go-to makeup products and really want to share them again because I love them so much!

What We’ve Been Up To…

We’re still doing “No Spend January” – it’s been crazy eye opening to see how much money we spend on EATING OUT and convenience eating. I thought I did a great job cooking at home, but apparently not! It has been nice to meal plan better again and discover some new family favorite recipes!

Not too much other than the normal weekly activities! Swim class and basketball are what the kids have been participating in!

The kids have been doing great playing inside and using their imagination. Winter is not always easy! We are counting down the days until we are back outside!

We try to get outside and enjoy the winter as much as we can though!

What I’m Dreading…

Not too much at the moment! Oh, actually I lied – training Nellie with the electric fence.

Tis the season for seed starting!

What I’m Excited About...

Just a couple months until – TULIPS!

What I’m Watching/Reading…

I just started this after a friend suggested it at a wedding in November. It is extremely eye-opening so far!

My husband and I started this series and my gosh – I’m so happy we did! We look forward to it every night. Amazing to be able to envision what Jesus’ time on earth was truly about. Has drawn us closer to Him for sure.

My winter uniforms! I got these items for Christmas – from me, to me, ha!

I bought this is blue for my sister in law for Christmas – the fabric is SO great and love the look of this!

I love this sweater – very comfortable and perfect casual outfit!

What I’m Doing This Weekend…

JP has basketball and then we have Family Night up at school to kick off Catholic Schools week!

What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month…

I’m excited for the Lenten season to begin, the sun to stay out just a little longer and for winter to start winding down!

What Else is New??

I’m proud I fixed our Eufy vaccum – the motor was dying so I installed a new one! It sounds brand new!

Amazon Purchase I Loved this Month

Well, we’ve been doing no spend January, so I haven’t purchased anything! I do though, have my eye on this adorable snow suit for Audrey next season!
