Happy Friday everyone! I love seeing when other bloggers do these posts, so I figured I would jump in and do one myself!
I had quite a week in terms of thrifty finds in preparation for the Holidays. I shared some essential elements that don’t break the bank and add to a BEAUTIFUL, ELEGANT tablescape for the holiday season!
These chargers made the list – $1.25 at Big Lots last season.
Dollar Tree also has some really cute options for $1. I thought the ones below were so neat!
For my tablescape I ended up using an assortment of foam pumpkins that I purchased from Walmart for a steal. Check out my Fall Home Decor post to find the links for those! Most of the pumpkins were $0.98 – $2 a piece.
I placed some tiny pumpkins on top of each napkin, particularly because I decided not to use napkin holders here. These tiny pumpkins were from Walmart and are technically called vase fillers. I’m so happy I used them this way – I like the seasonal touch they add and the eye is drawn right to them!
You can purchase candle sticks just about anywhere in all sorts of colors (I used burgundy here) and I happened to purchase these glass candle holders from the Dollar Tree for $1.
Christmas Decor – Thrifty Finds – Coffee Stand
Just before leaving for vacation, I decided to clean up and store all our fall decor in prep for Christmas decorating when we return home! But the kitchen was looking so BARE! So I decided to decorate our coffee/tea stand in the kitchen.
I found all these items in Bullseye’s Playground Section at Target. I love how the grey and cremes match our kitchen and always like to add a little seasonal green to the stand.
- 4 pack silver bottle brushes
- 2 pack white bottle brushes
- Small ceramic white Christmas tree
- Spruce pine cone sprigs and rosemary sprigs found in the Dollarspot
If you’re local to northeast Ohio, Marc’s Stores had these mercury trees in their closeout section for $4.99. This was an absolute steal as these can run $10-$20 at the very least.
Also, the greige smaller tree is plastic and it has a light up capability. These were $3.99 and super complimentary with the bigger mercury trees.
NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU CALL YOUR LOCAL MARC’S STORES IN ADVANCE AND ASK FOR THEIR CLOSEOUT SECTION. THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO TELL YOU IF THEY HAD THEM AT THAT LOCATION.
I bought a couple 3 packs of the mini pine trees from Walmart for $5.50 a pack. I plan on placing these on our bookshelves and and mantle.
I can’t wait to hop on and search for some Black Friday gifts today! Happy shopping!
