Instead of doing Tip Jar Tuesday today, I’m doing a birthday tribute to baby Tom Tom who just turned ONE! How did he just turn ONE?! Honestly, time is just flying by and I wish it would slow down already!

Instead of doing Tip Jar Tuesday today, I’m doing a birthday tribute to baby Tom Tom who just turned ONE! How did he just turn ONE?! Honestly, time is just flying by and I wish it would slow down already!

Happy Monday! We returned home from our vacation and wow, is there a lot to get organized today! We had an amazing vacation, while tiring vacationing with three little kiddos, we are sad see another trip and summer come to a close.
Continue readingThis recipe is a classic from my Grandma and is one of my favorite summer desserts to serve guests or bring over to any gathering/dinner party! A fan favorite in our household, this quick semi-homemade dessert is a simple and tasty show stopper!
Continue readingWhat’s trending around our house lately? Plenty of time out in my cutting flower garden! There is always something to do – whether it’s deadheading, pruning, watering or harvesting – I’ve been enjoying all the time out there! The crazy thing – it’s not even that big!
For today’s “What’s Trending” post – I’m sharing some of my favorite garden flowers, views, arrangements and answering some random questions.
moreGood morning! Today is Amazon Prime Time day and I’m so excited to share some things I’ve “Primed” recently. It’s a whole bunch of randomness and some items are to enhance my flower bouquets!
Continue readingIt’s Friday!! Hope you all had an amazing week! I’m happy our weather has flipped back to summer mode – it was starting to feel like fall around here – which I’m not quite ready for yet!
Continue readingHappy Thrifty Thursday! Today, I’m sharing these Men’s athleisure shorts that are just TOO good not to share!
Continue readingWe’ve had sooo many peaches around the house from our Peach Truck pick up a couple weeks ago! Some of the peaches were starting to take a turn for the worst, so I decided to make some yummy peach desserts. I LOVE apple crisp, so the first recipe is a spin on my apple crisp recipe I love this time subbing out apples with PEACHES!
The second yummy peach dessert – Baked Peaches with Whipped Cream – was made by a family friend and I just HAD to make them! She was kind enough to send me the recipe and WOW are these good! Shout out to Nicole – thank you for sharing!
Continue readingHappy Tuesday! Today I am sharing a very BASIC day in the life post. I LOOOOOVEEEE reading these posts on other blogs! We got off to a really late start with our day all because of THIS POST! Did you see it?! I’m hoping you did because it took a super long time, but I feel it is such a great checklist of baby registry essentials!
Anyway, without further ado – here was our Monday! Quick note: don’t let this fool you – our days are always filled with ups and downs. Kids get upset, I lose my patience – these days can be a lot but at the end of the day, I try to remind myself they are short lived. This day in particular we were really “far” behind a normal schedule so that didn’t help much!
moreIt’s Motherhood Monday! Today, I’m sharing some baby registry essentials for any Momma’s-to-be! I was pleasantly surprised that we had ALL the essentials covered from our first baby shower 5 years ago. I’ve seen so many new gizmos, gadgets and inventions come out and really did not invest in any.
Because I found myself content with what we had, I’m sharing the main things you REALLY need – no frills, just basics! These items worked for our family and sometimes I find – the less, the better!
A huge shout out to my former boss who assisted me in putting together the best list of items to include on my registry, the most patience when it came to explaining certain things and answering all my questions related to what to expect when becoming a Mom!
Continue readingHappy Friday everyone! Rounding up some favorites from this week and hoping you have a great weekend! I cannot believe tomorrow is August!
Continue readingToday I’m sharing a handful of recent garage sale finds with you! I’ve found some really neat things in the home decor department that I am excited about! A couple things are work in progress, but I’ll show you the before and share the after once the project is complete!
Continue readingToday, I’m doing another fun link up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer Told Me To where we recap the month with a little this and that! I love these kind of posts – they also make me happy because someday, I can look back at these little “journal” excerpts showing a glimpse of our lives lately!
Continue readingGood morning everyone! We’ve made it to Friday! I hope you all had an amazing week! Today I’m sharing some favorites from this week – hope you have a great Friday and an amazing weekend!
Continue readingGood morning and Happy Thursday! Today for Thursday Thoughts I wanted to celebrate the start of this blog ONE year ago! First off, I cannot even believe a year has already passed!
When I decided to go live with this blog last year, I had set some goals for myself. To be honest, a lot of those goals have morphed and I found myself adjusting and even changing my blogs vision and path.
moreIt’s Tip Jar Tuesday and today, I’m sharing some tips on how to avoid being wasteful when it comes to having party leftovers. Earlier this month, we celebrated my husband’s 30th and our food menu was very “meaty” and the amount of leftovers was astronomical!
First off, one thing we like to do is send our family home with a nice container of leftovers – it can easily brighten someone’s day just knowing lunch or dinner is taken care of! I purchased plastic to-go containers and I was so happy to have these on hand in order to divvy out the mass amounts of leftover food.
moreThe weather from this past week has forced us into the pool and I’m not complaining about it! We had a fun little pool party this weekend and I was able to put together some yummy “snack-uterie” boards with some staple Aldi items we like to keep on hand. I told myself at the beginning of summer I wanted to make sure we have our pantry and fridge stocked with staple items we could easily bring out for guests!
I’ve fallen in love with Aldi. They have a wide variety of quality and tasty foods and I love trying so many new things! Their prices are incredible and I almost guarantee you’ll never return to overspending on your groceries ever again!
Here are some staple Aldi items we love to have on hand ALWAYS (especially during the summer months)!
moreAnother week has come and gone! Crazy how the weeks have been going by so quickly as of recent! Today I’m sharing some favorites from the past week!
Continue readingWhat’s trending around our house lately? Lots of time outside and in the pool! I used to be more lax when it came to putting sunscreen on myself and the kiddos, but now that I keep it outside in a little container so its easily accessible!
