I was NEVER one who was into reading. Growing up, spark notes were my life to make it out of English class alive…It was when I was going to join my husband on a work trip about a year and a half ago that I had the thought, what should I do with my spare time? I would have a lot of time to myself on my flight and at the hotel, so I decided why not read a book. I had seen a review on The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware, which sounded like it was right up my alley and BOOM, I have been reading books of all kinds ever since.

I figured I would share some SUSPENSE/THRILLER books I have read recently that would be perfect for this month with Halloween right around the corner!

Thriller/Suspense Book Recommendations

The Woman in Cabin 10 – Ruth Ware
As I mentioned before…this book started it all for me! I realized thrillers and suspense novels are my jam! This book was amazing and another one I could not put down! I needed to know what was going to happen next.

This story was about a woman who goes on a cruise and is certain the girl in the cabin next to her has disappeared. You will have to read it because I don’t want to go into much more detail and give it away. Super thrilling!

The Wife Between Us – Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen
This novel was so so good! At times it had me turning to my husband giving him a glare, ha! This book was about a woman who is struggling to “move on” from her ex-husband basically because of his new fiancé. This story was super suspenseful and I had no clue how it was going to turn out!

The Breakdown – B.A. Paris
I LOVED this book! I finished it in 3 days (which is a big deal for me!) I was spooked out BIG time and found myself finishing the final 100 pages into the wee hours of the night because I could not put it down!

This book is about a woman who witnesses a break down on the side of the road. She finds out the next morning that a murder took place there. This novel had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and it takes you on a ride with all the twists and turns in the plot! Such a great thriller!

The Couple Next Door – Shari Lapena
THIS…This book was so good my friends! I could not put it down and had no clue how this would turn out! Something tragic happens to the couple in this story and it has you questioning who, what, where and when?! It was super suspenseful and creeped me out at times!
