Happy Friday! Sharing some favorites from the week!
Of course, I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers to share some Friday Favorites with you all!
Toys, Toys, Toys
This weekend my husband and I were on a roll! We filled 3 trash bags of “junk”, added items for donation and reorganized and tidied the living room/play room, basement, kitchen – a fresh start to the year!
I shared how we were dealing with the influx of toys on Monday and ways we are able to have our living room serve as our play room. Sharing a couple of our storage favs directly below, but you can check out the full post.
Drawstring storage bags
We’ve been using these for a year now and absolutely love them! They keep all the legos, magnetic tiles and little doll house pieces all together in one place! I may end up purchasing some more because these are a game changer for easy organization!
They have 3 different sizes and are see-through so it makes it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for!
Storage Bench
This bench was a gift from my Mom two Christmases ago. We wanted more seating in our living room without blocking the window. I love all the storage we get with this one!
Behind the Couch Storage Rack
We mother-in-law purchased this for us and it has been a game changer!
Speaking of toys…the kids have been playing with the things below on repeat! I forgot to take some action pictures of the other toys, but figured I would share because I’m always shocked at the post-Christmas toy burnout.
This clay kit has been incredible! It’s softer than ever and can be used over and over if you get it back into the containers before it dries up! It comes with a cute little idea book and my daughter and I have enjoyed doing this together very much! So therapeutic!
Build your own flower garden has been fun for all the kids. Little T likes to just stack a bunch of flowers!
The kids have been loving these! We were gifted the magnitiles last year and the kids were always looking to build more!
All things cozy
My Italian Wedding Soup is a house FAVORITE!! This is honestly one of the top meals I can GUARANTEE the kids will eat and ask more thirds even!
I’ve been channeling my inner barista 🙂
I’ve been loving the warmth of this “Shacket”
2021 Planning
Yesterday I shared how we track our budget and our savings goals for the upcoming year. You can check that post out here.
Curious, for those of you who try to follow a strict budgeting system throughout the year, in what ways do you track it? Excel, Minted, a Virtual Wallet through your bank?
Flower Farming Planning
I’m stoked to begin planning for this! Spring cannot come soon enough!
Potty Training Success
Well, almost! We are 98% there! He’s had a couple accidents, but overall I think we’ve done it!! Whew!
I just can’t get over these cute little legs! To say he is enjoying the freedom is an understatement.
Hope you have a FABULOUS and PEACEFUL weekend!!

My kids used to love those Magnetic tile blocks and used them until they were nearly teenagers!
I have a feeling my kiddos will be like yours! I even enjoy playing with them, ha!
WTG on potty training!! It’s also an accomplishment for us mamas too! That white storage rack was a game changer for us too…it has helped so much. I purged toys before Christmas and it was something that helped with all the new toys. I am going to look into those storage bags bc we lose all the little pieces. Have a great weekend! I enjoyed reading your post!
Aww, thank you! Ha, it really is and a pay raise too! The storage bags are the best! Awesome if you have to drop the kids off at a babysitter/grandparents house too!
