Hello November and hello Monday! A little late to the game here today, but that’s okay – I’m sure I’m not the only one having a manic Monday! We had a really nice Halloween (one of the first in recent years without rain or gloom!) and we also stayed nice and cozy as we saw some of the first snowflakes fly of the season!
Halloween!!
The weekend started after sissy had her Halloween party at school!
I gave the kiddos a nice afternoon bath (it was very chilly that day) and changed them into their jammies because we had nothing going on! It was nice to relax and be cozy in prep for a busy Halloween!
Halloween morning we got to carving some pumpkins!
This little lady wanted to do a lady bug pumpkin!
…and of course JP would want a Spiderman pumpkin!
Then we got ready for some trick or treating at our parents neighborhood! We live on a street that does not get trick or treaters so it works out for us!
This henley I shared last week is even better in person!
The kiddos transformed into SUPERS!
Was able to snap a quick picture with Dash!
Let 2020 Trick or Treating commence!
Then we went back to my parents house and met up with my brother and sister-in-law and our cute nephew!!
His vintage golfer costume was ADORABLE!!
We watched the OSU game, ordered some pizza and ate some mummy hot dogs!
Then we headed home to sort our candy (and then hide it from the kiddos!)
Then the kiddos went down for bed and I tried to convince my husband to start a fire outside under the full moon, but we opted for a show instead.
We started watching The Boys and we can’t stop! It’s pretty gory and dark at times, but ultimately really good! We stayed up way too late thinking we could get away with it because of Daylight Savings Time!
To wrap up our weekend, we went to church then came back and changed into our comfy clothes. It was dark SO early and we were bored so we made a trip to Walmart!
The kids had fun checking out the toy section and I enjoyed scoring some half off costumes for next year!
Hope you had a great weekend!!
