What’s trending around our house lately? BACK TO SCHOOL!
For today’s “What’s Trending” post – I’m sharing some first day pictures along with the LOVE I am having for the one-on-one time with the boys!
As I’ve mentioned before, we decided to hold Audrey back from Kinder this year as she is right on the age cut off. I selfishly to did not want to send her to school all day every day! She won’t be this little for long, so enjoying all of it before Kindergarten next year and what feels like a LIFETIME of school!
I’m part time blogging this week in order to get prepped for the new school year and our new routine!
Speaking of routine, this has made a HUGGGEE difference in our day-to-day! I know this is week one, but I am feeling good about having a set structure for everyone. You never realize how amazing that is until it is altered by COVID and SUMMER!
Yesterday we dropped little miss off for her first FULL day of school!
We were sad to see her go and it was quiet around the house, but we had to stop sulking!
I took the boys for a walk where JP lived his best life watching construction trucks at work!
I also saved a bird from a batting cage net *adds to resume*
After our walk we hung around, played, ate lunch and got the boys down for nap!
I was able to get A LOT done and really enjoyed this quiet time. This part time Pre-K will be good for all of us!
I wish I took more pictures to document the rest of the day, but here it is in summary…
After that we all hopped in the car to pick up Audrey and got a smoothie to celebrate the first day!
Audrey, JP and our little neighbor decided to play up until dinner which was a burgers and corn on the cob!
To end the day, we swam and that was a wrap! First day of school in the books!
Looking forward to an awesome year for this little lady! We love her SO MUCH!
