Friday Favorites – 05.15.20

Happy Friday! I am so very excited for the weekend – I think we’ve finally said goodbye to the cold icky weather (fingers crossed at least!) and this weekend and upcoming week yield lots to look forward to!

Today, I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers to share some Friday Favorites with you all!

Link up with Andrea and Erika

May Coffee Stand

I finally put away all our Spring/Easter decorations from around the house and updated my coffee tiered tray!

I love the teal! I honestly shopped around my house and used things I’ve had. The only thing new was the “No rain, no flowers” sign, which was from Target about a month and a half ago!

Grocery Run (by myself!)

Wild that this is considered a favorite, ha, but it was! I enjoyed running an errand by myself. It was nice to have that quiet time to hear myself think for once! I threw the windows down, enjoyed the sunshine, blasted the radio and may have been singing a little too loud!

Rainy Day Reading

A rainy day called for a cozy blanket and relaxation during the boys’ nap time. Made a little bit of a dent 🙂

I WILL get through this book. It has literally been MONTHS, but I will finish it…thank goodness the library has been closed because I would’ve been feeling the PRESSURE!

Garden Journal

This week I shared my Garden Binder in great detail. This is a great tool to have if you are a gardener or do your own landscaping around the house!

You can check out my post here.

Motherhood Mondays

I thought it would be neat to share all things motherhood every second Monday of the month. Throughout the years, I’ve loved answering questions all about kiddos, being a Mom, birth, etc. The reason I love it is because I remember being on the flip side wanting to hear all about what to expect. It helps talking with other Mom’s learning about their experiences and hearing what works/worked for them.

I gave an intro about my kiddos in my first post.

Spring Home Maintenance

We were able to get outside and tackle some tasks around the house we do every year – and this is something we do EVERY SPRING

Spray for bugs! Ortho Home Defense

We had a major stink bug problem at our old house and after applying this biannually, we noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in the amount of stink bugs in the house. I also rarely saw spiders.

I have been doing the same thing at our new house and feel it is working the same way! We haven’t had any major bug issues around here, but I still do this for preventative purposes.

I spray the perimeter of the house at the base of the foundation, around the windows and doors every spring and fall. This stuff is very easy to use!

Pool Opening

We also opened the pool up this week and I cannot wait to enjoy that this summer!

Modern Day Paul Bunyan

I’m the type of person who gets a project going (particularly outdoor tasks) and then need to bring in the brawn to get it completed.

He was SOOOO not on board with removing three fallen pines, but I convinced him to help save the other trees out back and I think he ended up LOVING the task, ha! It also made for some good laughs!

Screenshot from my live footage…

At least the kids had a good time exploring the woods!

I hope you have a FABULOUS weekend!
