What’s Up Wednesday [10.28.26]

It’s the last Wednesday of the month, and that means- MY FAVORITE POST! I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers Mix & Match Mama and Sheaffer Told Me To to share what has been happening around here!

End of October, here we are! It’s been a beautiful month and we’ve been spoiled with the most gorgeous weather. It has really made this Fall that much better with the amount of time we’ve been spending outside being more enjoyable! We’ve had a really busy month – let’s jump in!

What We’re Eating This Week…

We’ve had a random week! Grilled chicken, green beans and roasted potatoes was dinner last night. We had friends over and pizza the other night and we will probably make something fun to have Halloween night this week!

Andrew and I went out for our anniversary a couple weeks ago and are still dreaming about our meals! The picture below was their sampler app and I’m not joking when I say we mopped up every last bit on that plate.

What I’m Reminiscing About…

Halloween from the past! It makes me so sad how fast this time is flying! Trying to embrace every bit of it!

What I’m Loving…

We’ve really been enjoying the beauty of fall in Northeast Ohio and even the Northeast region. I was able to take a trip with some school Moms to a barn property in Upstate New York, which one of them owns and we enjoyed the most beautiful views up there.

How about this barn property?!

I’m pretty sure Nellie’s favorite season is fall!

And all of us for that matter….

What We’ve Been Up To…

We’ve been SO BUSY! Just when I think we’ll have a break (which we have during the week with no sports currently), we don’t! We’ve been busy with parties, activities, a concert in Pittsburgh (quick girls trip!) and events!

The kids have been really enjoying fall though!

I’ve wrapped up my flower farming season! It was a good one this year – I’m proud that I slowed it down and made it work for my schedule rather than letting the “business” run me.

We enjoyed watching the Guardians compete far into the playoffs this year! We really love this team and miss watching them!

What I’m Dreading…

Dealing with digging this up…

I’m also dreading the darkness this time of year. I’m going to miss my flowers, sunshine and warmth so much, but am welcoming in what this season of rest has to offer.

What I’m Working On…

Prepping for spring flowers – Tulips and ranunculus. I’m also working on digging up 300 Dahlia plants and storing those in my crawl space.

Audrey is still making bag charms and her Etsy shop is up and running if you’re looking for a fun little accessory for your bookbag, purse or luggage bags! These would make great gifts for teachers, family and friends! We are going to try and do a craft show this holiday season at a local school! Very excited for her!

What I’m Excited About…

The holiday season approaching. It is such a cozy time of year!

What I’m Watching/Reading…

Reading – nothing. What else is new…

Watching – Terminal List Season 2 and love. Watching the finale tonight.

What I’m Listening To…

Scottish instrumental music on Spotify

What I’m Wearing…

A random assortment of clothing

I love this camo jacket so much!

What I’m Doing This Weekend…

We have our annual school gala and hopefully continuing to wrap up outside home projects!

What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month…

Thanksgiving and cozy vibes inside!

What Else is New??

The kids are starting basketball this week with their school and I’m excited to see Andrew coach Audrey and her friends.

Favorite Amazon Purchase this Month….

I’m so excited for this puzzle! I love everything about it!

That’s all for today! As always, thanks for reading!
