It’s the last Wednesday of the month, and that means- MY FAVORITE POST! I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers Mix & Match Mama and Sheaffer Told Me To to share what has been happening around here!

How are we at the end of September?! Where did this month go?! Well, what better way to look back on it then with this post right here. We’ve found our routine, we’ve been enjoying the sports, birthday parties, all the things fall time has to offer! Let’s jump into it!

What We’re Eating This Week…

This week is all about resetting after parties and events galore. On the menu this week:

– Steak, Mac n cheese, corn on the cob
– Chicken pot pie
– Italian Wedding soup
– Audrey’s cooking from her new cookbook – excited to see what she picks!

To celebrate my MIL birthday, she invited us to a cooking class where we learned how to make an Italian feast. One of the foods was a piedina – basically an Italian flatbread. I ended up making the recipe for my Garden Club meeting, which was a potluck theme.

What I’m Reminiscing About…

Fall time with the kids at home when they were little. I’m excited to make our annual trip to the cutest little corner pumpkin patch and cannot believe how big they look over the years.

What I’m Loving…

I’ve been loving the crispness of fall – the glowy golden hours, misty mornings and colors starting to change!

What We’ve Been Up To…

We’ve been up to SPORTS! Andrew and I are helping coach the kiddos sports teams, so that is keeping us busy!

We’ve been celebrating birthdays… we had some fun friend birthday parties over the past month.

We’ve made some awesome memories!

We won some new pets at the County Fair…………

Speaking of the County Fair, my “California Gold Rush” arrangement took home a Blue Ribbon!

Audrey had a Western theme fair entry!

Andrew and I enjoyed the most perfect day at the ballpark!

What I’m Dreading…

Sunset and sunrise times changing for the worst. I miss those long summer days!

What I’m Working On…

Flowers – the garden has still been churning out blooms! It’s crazy what I started back in the winter/spring this year, is starting to come to a close. Our temperatures this season are a little chillier than years past, so I’m nervous we might get an early frost!

I’m also working on our front garden beds – they got destroyed from an extremely invasive weed and it has been a real pain trying to rid of it.

Audrey is still making bag charms and her Etsy shop is up and running if you’re looking for a fun little accessory for your bookbag, purse or luggage bags! These would make great gifts for teachers, family and friends!

What I’m Excited About…

All the fall things…apple picking, pumpkin patches, football games, bonfires – I do love this time of year!

Oh and, GUARDIANS playoff baseball!!!!

What I’m Watching/Reading…

I just finished the Outlander series and would love to start reading the books honestly. Winter will be my chance to hibernate and read!

What I’m Listening To…

What I’m Wearing…

I need to share some fall finds, but two things I will for sure share…

I love these camo pants so much! They now make them in a short size. I have a couple different pairs of these pants, but this pattern is my fav!

These pants are so fun! They are super comfortable and I love the stripes and pale yellow color. The tee is a must have too! Comfortable, the perfect size and sleeve length!

What I’m Doing This Weekend…

We have games this weekend and a birthday party at a friends campground. The campground they belong to does a fun Halloween weekend for the kids – so it should be a fun night!

What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month…

Halloween time and Halloween movies with the kiddos. Oddly, closing up the garden beds – cleaning it all up, prepping the beds for winter.

What Else is New??

Not much else – just trying to enjoy our weekdays as much as we can! Andrew and I are the coaches of the kids teams, so we made our practices same day and times! I feel like we have a lot more free time during the week!
