It’s the last Wednesday of the month, and that means- MY FAVORITE POST! I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers Mix & Match Mama and Sheaffer Told Me To to share what has been happening around here!

Life has been very busy and we’ve been dealing with a lot within our family. My poor SIL, Stef, has been fighting brain cancer for the past 13 months. Please keep her, my brother and their kids in your thoughts and prayers as they continue navigating this disease. She is beyond tough and may Jesus comfort her and bring her peace in the situation at hand.

I wanted to write this month because it is truly something that brings me joy. Everyday is just so precious – what a blessing the day is. Trying to focus on the beautiful things this summer below!

What We’re Eating This Week…

I’ve been loving this breakfast – an over easy egg, avocado and broccoli sprouts! Normally I use Dave’s Killer Bread with this!

With Father’s Day on Sunday, grilling out was!We had tacos and homemade hamburger helper, which was devoured.

The rest of the week is up in the air as I need to place my grocery pick up order…

What I’m Reminiscing About…

Strawberry picking – we were so bummed to miss it this season! I think the strawberries did not do well due to some late cold snaps so the crop was limited at the local farm we normally go pick at! One of our favorite summer traditions!

What I’m Loving…

Summer with the kids. We’ve been busy, but I truly have enjoyed having them around. It can be wild at times, but they are the best company.

It’s the first year where the kids have picked camps to participate in and I have been loving the one on one time with the non camper! The boys and I went to Dicks Sporting Goods to spend gift cards and browse, enjoyed coffee and Audrey and I enjoyed a coffee date and Marshall’s shopping trip!

What We’ve Been Up To…

We’ve been pretty busy with family matters, but trying to make time to do all the things!

The kids got their veggie garden in!

We’ve enjoyed putt putt!

A night out in our favorite town!

Audrey wrapped up cooking camp and we’ve enjoyed the fruits of her labor! Crepes, YUM!

We took a limo down to the Guardians game – my Mom got the kids (and families) tickets and gear for Christmas!

Speaking of baseball, we’ve had that nonstop – games are starting to wind down for the boys and they participated in a Guardians summer camp which they really enjoyed! They play baseball in the backyard all summer long which I love!

We’ve enjoyed time outside – river walks and the beach!

Audrey has been really into horses and is currently doing a horse camp this week! She is helping the neighbor a couple doors down care for her horse and I’m so proud of her!

We’ve been enjoying dining on the patio!

And coffee with a view!

What I’m Dreading…

Just some personal family matters ahead – will be a challenging times ahead but God will help us all through it.

I am dreading weeding my garden, there are areas that are unruly. I also dread back to school time even when we are months away!

What I’m Working On…

Finishing up planting my garden this year. I’m super late and behind, but that’s okay.

Audrey is still making bag charms and her Etsy shop is up and running if you’re looking for a fun little accessory for your bookbag, purse or luggage bags! These would make great gifts for teachers, family and friends!

What I’m Excited About…

Family vacations ahead! We are so excited to finally have a family trip with Andrew’s family – we are all really looking forward to it!

What I’m Watching/Reading…

I started this book and I’m slowly making my way through…

Audrey and I have been watching an episode or two of That’s So Raven when we have time!

What I’m Listening To…

The sounds of the birds – we’ve had our windows open at night because the temperatures are perfect!

What I’m Wearing…

I need to share some recent things, but in the meantime – Jean shorts, plain t-shirts, jeans, Jean jackets – our weather was interesting last week and a little chilly so not the norm summer outfits!

I am obsessed with these jeans shorts!

What I’m Doing This Weekend…

Looking forward to celebrating Andrew’s birthday! The kids want to camp out outside, so we plan to set that up for them.

What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month…

Hopefully vacations and beautiful time spent with family!

What Else is New??

Nothing, just continuing prayers for all those sick and suffering.

Favorite Amazon Purchase this Month….

I love this furniture spray, it works amazing and it smells so fresh!

Also Audrey has been loving this and is excited to use it on the 4th!
