What’s Up Wednesday [02.25.26]

It’s the last Wednesday of the month, and that means- MY FAVORITE POST! I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers Mix & Match Mama and Sheaffer Told Me To to share what has been happening around here!

Welp, after a false spring, we are back buried under 6-8 inches of snow. We knew it was going to happen. It happens every year… our minds are used to it by now, but it doesn’t make it any easier when you get that teaser!

What We’re Eating This Week…

The menu consists of chicken noodle soup, burgers, salmon and pot roast. All the cozy foods to fit the weather.

What I’m Reminiscing About…

This school year is honestly flying by. I was looking at pictures on my phone the other day with my niece and I can’t believe how long ago pictures from last year seem. It doesn’t make sense, but we were reminiscing when Tommy, my nephews and my nieces would all be at my house on Tuesdays.

What I’m Loving…

The anticipation of spring. The kids really enjoyed time outside during last week’s “heat wave”. It was nice to see the grass again, hear the birds and roam around outside. Andrew and I were able to take a lunch time walk, which I really enjoy with him.

What We’ve Been Up To…

We’ve been busy with a lot of things! Lots of parties this month, time with family and friends and basketball for the boys! We know what spring will deliver soon, so embracing the less busy time.

Audrey loved her Valentines for her class this year…

What I’m Dreading…

I do dread the ups and downs of our weather approaching. It makes my life a little challenging as a flower farmer. You have to be super careful this time of year…

What I’m Working On…

I’ve been ordering some gorgeous dahlias from other farmers to add to my collection this year. I tell myself I’m not going to, but can’t help it! I have to anticipate what florists will be looking for this year – so I always like to have a couple new offerings to see what stinks!

Speaking of dahlia tubers, I launched my sale last week. Some varieties are close to selling out so feel free to check it out if you are interested in growing these beauties yourself!

What’s not to love about these gorgeous flowers! Note: I only ship in the US.

Audrey is still making bag charms and her Etsy shop is up and running if you’re looking for a fun little accessory for your bookbag, purse or luggage bags! These would make great gifts for teachers, family and friends!

My seedlings are doing their thing in the basement under grow lights. In the next couple weeks, I need to prepare some beds outside to transplant some cool weather crops!

I’ve also had the opportunity to work with some flowers recently, which has made me really happy!

What I’m Excited About…

Seeing and selling flowers again! I get so excited mapping out my beds for the upcoming growing season! I was able to meet with other flower farming friends/”coworkers” in the area and we were all just so excited to chat about the season ahead!

Flower season starting up again! It’ll be here before we know it!

What I’m Watching/Reading…

I started this book and I’m slowly making my way through…

We are looking forward to Season 3 of Night Agent

What I’m Listening To…

Hallow app. I love listening to the daily reflections and praying the 12 Year Prayer of St. Bridget.

What I’m Wearing…

Stop by tomorrow for some spring clothing updates. I have been trying to purge the old and outdated in my closet and found some pieces to help with the reset!

Sharing some favorite barrel jeans below!

Lastly, these barrel jeans – I love them!

What I’m Doing This Weekend…

This weekend will be packed…again! We have an event at our church, basketball games, Girl Scout cookie pick up (I’m the cookie manager so it’s more extensive than it sounds) and a birthday party for my niece.

What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month…

The smells, the sounds and the sunshine ahead!

What Else is New??

Nothing, just continuing prayers for all those sick and suffering.
