Another Friday come and gone! I can’t even believe this is the last Friday in January! For some reason, I felt like the beginning of the month was flying by, but this past week or so was dragging! Could be the fact the kids were in school once this week – and for Audrey, she hasn’t been because she was home sick yesterday.

I’m most likely getting a message from school whether we are going in or having a virtual school day by the time I post this link up. It’s been FREEZING cold here. Twenty degrees is going to feel like a heat wave compared to what we’ve been experiencing.

Local favorite

Well, we didn’t leave the house this week, so I got nothing for ya! Unless we rewind to some outdoor/summer times!

A local fav – The Lake County Captains! We went to a couple games this summer and really enjoyed it. The Captains are an affiliate team for the Cleveland Guardians, so it was cool to see some former Guards players – ie Tyler Naquin! The games are inexpensive, fun and the food is good too! A perfect summer activity to do on a whim for us!

Fav foodie from the week

My husband told me to try teriyaki and yum yum on our salmon and WOW was he right with this combo!

I shared this the other day, but our knock off starbucks breakfast sandwiches have been a hit!

Okay, but nothing beats a surprise Starbucks delivery from your husband after finding out the morning of that the kids are off school yet again!

Favs from the week

Well, it was nice having no school all week honestly. We were cooped up in the house and are currently battling some illnesses, but we still have some fun!

We got a little dose of Vitamin D

I enjoyed a freezing walk (I needed to move!) with Nellie in our back woods. The snow was about 18” deep, but it sure was pretty!

We did some more baking!

JP made The Sacrament of Reconciliation! I am so proud of him and excited for him to be able to grow in his faith and as a person with this beautiful Sacrament.

The boys were pumped to be able to get breakfast at one of their favorite diners one morning!

Fav outfit from the week

I do love these barrel jeans! I need to start taking better pictures – sorry for the poor quality!

I also love this tinted lip balm. It gives just enough coverage – muted tones are my jam!

I’ve officially started seeds and my growing station is all set up and ready to go!
