It’s the last Wednesday of the month, and that means- MY FAVORITE POST! I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers Mix & Match Mama and Sheaffer Told Me To to share what has been happening around here!

It’s been an insane winter so far. The kiddos are really enjoying the lack of school recently and I feel the same. It really has been nice to be cozied up together. I think we ended up getting about 18″-20″ of snow.

What We’re Eating This Week…

Breakfast sandwiches have been the highlight of our mornings recently.

Dinner this week is everything cozy! We had steaks, spaghetti and tonight is salmon, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts.

What I’m Reminiscing About…

With all this snow…summer, sun, warmth!

What I’m Loving…

I feel like I sound like a broken record, but for as much as this winter has been intense, I’ve been LOVING what the season has to offer. I have really leaned into rest, reset and relaxation and have been trying to encourage the family to do the same as well. We all know how crazy spring-fall gets, so appreciating the way God intended for this season to be spent!

Simmer pots have been a highlight during this time!

What We’ve Been Up To…

So proud of this guy! He made the Sacrament of First Reconciliation this past weekend!

We enjoyed our annual staycation downtown! The kids absolutely loved it!

The otter movie at the Science Center IMAX theatre was a highlight!

We enjoyed making Christmas cookies and have been doing lots of baking! Banana bread, chocolate covered strawberries, brownies and Rice Krispies!

The kids have been so creative with their UPS shop (inspired by the play place at the Science Center)

Audrey created her very own puppet show!

We enjoyed a day sledding!

And have loved our cozy set up for these snowy days! Such a blessing to have a warm home.

Just trying to stay sane around here!

What I’m Dreading…

Not much, other than this forecast…

What I’m Working On…

Audrey started a little business, so I’ve been trying to be her marketing manager, which I’m failing at!

I have started some seeds and corms, which makes me so happy! I also had a wedding order recently that was fun!

What I’m Excited About…

A little date night coming up again!

Flower season starting up again! It’ll be here before we know it!

What I’m Watching/Reading…

You’ll never believe it! I finished a book. I actually did it, ha! Don’t Let Him In, was a thriller, I found myself a little confused in the beginning, but I believe that was the whole point!

I just started reading, The People You Meet on Vacation. I’ve heard good things about it!

Andrew and I just watched The Rip and loved it! Could have done without so many eff bombs, but very good overall.

Can’t forget my beloved magazines!

What I’m Listening To…

SILENCE…for now. The kids are about to find out they got another snow day!

What I’m Wearing…

This jacket has been my favorite! I believe it’s sold out, AGAIN! It’s oversized and just perfect!

Can’t forget this Free People vest my SIL gifted me!

Lastly, these barrel jeans – I love them!

I have some cute finds to share from Walmart in the upcoming weeks!

What I’m Doing This Weekend…

We are finally celebrating my Mom and brother’s birthday (we are also throwing mine in there too!) We’ve rescheduled this a million times, so looking forward to it. I am attempting to make one of my Mom’s favorite desserts that Grandma used to make her – Baked Alaska! My Grandma passed in December and I wanted to make sure my Mom feels all the love this birthday.

What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month…

Enjoying the last true month of winter. It should be a really fun month though, with lots of great things to look forward to!
