Good morning and happy FRIDAY! The kiddos were expecting a cold day today – and well unfortunately, I need to wake them up and break the news that they do have school… I hope everyone stays warm out there, what a crazy winter it’s been virtually everywhere!

I had a doctors appointment downtown this week and decided to stop through Little Italy for a latte and a pizza for the kids (they had a cold day on Tuesday!). The pizza surprise was a hit – Mama Santas for the win AS ALWAYS!

I was on a Greek kick this week for some reason?!

Mediterranean chicken, grilled veggies, rice and feta!

For lunch, I made my husband and I a Greek salad and we LOVED IT

Favs from the week

Sunday was just a dream! The sun was out, the temps weren’t too bad, so we decided to go sled riding and had the best time!

We saw the sun A LOT this week, which I am grateful for.

Sharing these rechargeable hand-warmers – I bought these for the spring sports season last year and we’ve loved having them ever since – I even gifted these to our parents because they come to all the sporting events and are just such troopers watching in such crazy weather! Each kid has their own color hand warmer. If you live anywhere cold, these are so worth it.

I switched up my simmer pot this week as I was using so many lemons. Lemons, thyme from my herb pot outside (which is still alive!), vanilla bean and I threw in some cloves (which maybe I will skip next time?)

This arrived. One of my favorite things. I love magazines

I opened the windows for a little to get some fresh air in the house this week.

I finally touched up our kitchen cabinets – I’m working on doing sections at a time! I am so pleased with the finish, they look brand new!!

Favorites from the Garden

I was able to start pre-sprouting ranunculus this week. I can’t tell you how happy this made me.

This is just one of the 10 varieties I’m growing. What a gorgeous flower!
