Happy Friday everyone! Another week down – how are we in the middle of January already?!
I think we are gearing up for a LOOOONNNNGGG weekend and hope I haven’t been hyping the kids up too much… we are expecting some cold temps Tuesday and Wednesday next week – and with MLK day on Monday, I’m thinking a 5 day weekend…
Of course, I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers to share them!
Local favorite
Our parks…my absolute favorite. We are blessed with some gorgeous parks managed by the Cleveland Metropark system. I love the trail near our house. There is a paved all purpose trail I LOVE walking on during this time of the year. These trails offer the most stunning views and I feel blessed!
Fav foodie from the week
I made fresh cinnamon sugar bread this week and LOVED IT! I added some vanilla to the sugar/cinnamon mixture and it made it so gooey and delicious!
We also have been loving boneless skinless thighs and have been preparing them all different ways – one of my favs this week was one pan boneless thighs with rice. The rice was flavored so delicious!
Favs from the week
This week, I completed another project – if you’re new to reading this year, I decided to pick a problem point a week in the house and tackle it. I completed the kids dressers and closets and it feels GREAT!
Another fav was this hygge vibe last night!
We’ve had some stretches of sun during this bitter cold and snowy week – I love laying in the sun for 15-20 minutes. Weird, maybe, but always a favorite!
This kid, cracks me up…
A favorite of ours’ is catching my brothers basketball games. We really enjoy going to them and it is always something to look forward to during the winter months!
This right here…. I couldn’t agree more.
Our local grocery store had ground chicken (a fav in this house) BOGO sale. They make the best meatballs and tacos and do not give a “gamey” taste like ground turkey does. I was able to snag 4 meals for $6!
Fav outfit from the week
I got a handful of compliments on this sweater. I love it – comfy and casual!
Favorites from the Garden
I am getting ready to start seedlings this week! I just received my seed packets and now the fun begins!
I set my 2025 business goals and am really looking forward to challenging myself!
I’m reminiscing about a summer filled with beautiful flower arrangements including these from a shower I helped with! The yellow ranunculus were from my garden!
