It’s the last Wednesday of the month, and that means I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers Mix & Match Mama and Sheaffer Told Me To to share what has been happening around here! These are my favorite posts – I LOVE seeing what others have going on and love that I can look back at these someday!
I’ve been MIA on here for a while and I happy to share a summary of the things that have been going on! It’s been a crazy month here and a house/homemaking reset was just what we needed.
What We’re Eating This Week…
Italian wedding soup, mozzarella & tomato chicken sausages with potatoes, brussels and onions, pork chops tonight (still trying to figure out what to do with those), tree lighting festival and dinner out tomorrow and then free for all weekend! This week has flown!
What I’m Reminiscing About
Our old house…
We’ve been talking about our house a lot recently and some remodeling plans we would LOVE to do and got talking about our old house! It was the perfect starter home and just what we needed at that time of our life! So many sweet memories at that house. My husband and I will never forget sobbing in the nursery room before closing the door for the last time.
What I’m Loving…
Cozy home time
With the sun going down early and temps dropping, we’ve been spending a lot of time inside together. Movie nights, baking and playing around the Christmas tree lights have been our favorite things!
This little lady loves the snow and all the at home snuggles!
What We’ve Been Up To…
Home re-organization and declutter
We got a dumpster.
Yes a dumpster.
It turned out being the best thing ever even though it was the worst most annoying thing ever.
It was my husband’s idea and he was right about our house all along.
I plan to share more on this next week!
We’ve also been enjoying the season! Even if its chilly we try to bundle up and enjoy the outdoors as much as we can!
A little girl date is what we needed! A breakfast date and Target is all we need sometimes!
What I’m Dreading…
Wrapping xmas gifts
I don’t love it! Especially when I’m squeezing it in during nap time hiding in the basement!
What I’m Working On…
All things printed!
I’m finalizing our Christmas card and working on three invitations at the moment! It’s been fun to work on those things again!
I’m excited how our Christmas pictures turned out! Again, I did these with my camera – each year I get a little better with working that camera!
I was also happy to get my tulips planted on Thanksgiving Day!
What I’m Excited About…
All the holiday things!
Our hometown has their tree lighting and then its breakfast with Santa, driving around to see lights and decorating our house!
What I’m Watching/Reading…
We just finished the new season of Cobra Kai – my husband and I LOVED it!
I’m starting this book and extremely excited about it – heard nothing but great things!
What I’m Listening To
Xmas music!
Love this time of the year!
What I’m Wearing…
I’ve been wearing an assortment of things!
Mostly PJs and athleisure….I’ve been loving this sweatshirt SO MUCH! It’s perfect!
To dresses…we had a couple different events at the beginning of the month!
This dress was for a casual cocktail attire event. Very nice quality and the dress comes in a ton of colors!
This velvet dress was very comfortable and flattering.
Actually love this dress from our xmas photoshoot!
What I’m Doing This Weekend…
We have nothing planned this weekend! Just relaxing and whatnot! If the weather is nice – a family walk is in store!
What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month…
A fresh start to the new year! How are we here already?!
What Else is New??
I finished xmas shopping for the kids already! This never happens!

I keep telling my husband we need a dumpster so we can do a mass cleanout; we’ve lived here 18+ years and I’m pretty sure I’d have no problem filling it. He would though.. he likes to save and hold onto things while I am a cleaner. All 3 of your dresses look fabulous!
