What We’re Eating This Week…

All the comfort foods! Pot roast, soups, and turkey day of course!

How is it almost 2022?! Such a fun year – so many things done and memories made! Including this little random trip!

Making time for these cuties!

I’ve been trying to sit and slow down with the kiddos! Audrey and I have enjoyed coloring!

We also brought back out our favorite magnetic tiles and have had some fun building together!

We finally baked the poodle cupcakes from Audrey’s cookbook!

These shoes have finally come in stock, I’ve been keeping an eye on these – they haven’t been in stock for years and now they are in stock and on sale!!

I’m also loving how my teacher gifts are coming together! These trees are ADORABLE and don’t break the bank! I plan to hang the gift cards like ornaments!

What We’ve Been Up To…

8 pm house inspection

Ha, I laugh at how this sounds, but that’s what my husband coined it! We purged toys and reorganized recently and now in order to maintain a clean and tidy home we HAVE to check every room of the house at 8pm every night to make sure everything is put away. I feel like this is just what I needed for my stress! It is so nice to wake up to a clean house everyday and not worry about doing major cleaning. I personally feel less cluttered and so much more healthy mentally! It does take a bit of work, but it is worth it and stops the compounding mess that happens in a week!

What I’m Dreading…

Finding time to wrap in secret!

It can get a little stressful getting all the gifts wrapped with toddlers lurking around!

Eventually painting our dining room…

I don’t LOVE painting, but our dining room needs a major face lift! Been trying to pin some inspiration, but I know we need to lighten the space up big time!

Start of Holiday Season!

Such an exciting time of year! Of course love seeing all the extra joy it brings to the kiddos!

The kids tell me they are bored … can’t wait for winter and holiday break!! Always a difficult time of the year – esp. when your kiddos are sick and we can’t go anywhere!

So excited to deck the house with Christmas cheer this weekend! The kids have been dying to get their trees out in their room!

So excited for some fun events planned whether it is a cooking class with Audrey, bday parties, dinners with family, a comedy show – December is going to be fun!
