There has been so much “tidying up” going on around here and I thought I would share what happens around the house when spring hits since we are going through it!
In honor of SPRING, I want to share some of my favorite spring cleaning items! Again, we don’t have a cleaning service, so I do all the heavy lifting myself!
Today, I’m sharing my cleaning MUST-HAVES!
Walmart Dust Buster Vacuum
You guys, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this little gadget. It is like a beefed up dust buster. I like that I don’t have to lug the regular vacuum up the stairs all the time, this little guy does the trick in between vacuum day and quick pick up!
It is also extremely effective on my stairs which I love. There are two attachments, the long slender nozzle for corners dusting/vaccuuming trim and getting in those hard to reach spots. The second attachment is the “vacuum head” I love the different adjustments you can do – it can be handheld or you can add a log handle. The kids have a blast vacuuming!
Cleaning Cloths
I love this set of cleaning cloths. They get the job done. Two types: dusting and polishing
Wet Mop
This has been my ABSOLUTE favorite thing. No more worrying about dirty water when mopping or scrubbing like a mad woman – let this mop do it all for you! You can add whatever floor cleaner you prefer to the machine – works excellent!
Bissell Carpet Cleaner
I’ve also shared this carpet cleaner MANY times! It has come in handy so much especially with all the puppy accidents and mud that finds it’s way onto my cream carpet!
Steam Cleaner
I also invested in a steam cleaner – I’ve used this to clean our walls that get absolutely destroyed by grimy little fingers. This has been a game changer! This is great to use around the toilets, on glass shower doors and on tile grout! I’ll have to do a better before and after!
Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaner
THIS STUFF. Hands down, THEE BEST and easiest toilet cleaner. If we are expecting company or we need a little help before bathroom cleaning days – I add this around the toilet, close the lid and either leave it in for an hour or so or overnight. The toilet bowl looks sparkling and I did virtually NOTHING!
Pink Stuff
I’ve used this in various places around the house – best results, toaster (I’ve never seen it shine so good), grout in on of our bathrooms and the brass/glass door. It really shines and buffs it up!
Sprays – Disinfectants
I love using the Target Method sprays. My favorite are below.
I also love the disinfectant spray. I use it on door knobs, any grimy toys, our kitchen table and other areas that need a little germ removal!
Laundry Sanitizer
I throw this into our sheet loads, undies, and anything that was in contact with sick kiddos!
Folex Carpet Cleaner
This has been excellent! We have a cream carpet in the kids play room and there is ALWAYS something staining that space….
Stain Remover
I’ve shared this many times before, but this stuff removes DRIED OIL STAINS like magic.
