Friday Favorites – 05.19.23

Good morning and happy Friday, friends! My gosh, we are one step closer to summer over here – I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!

While May has kicked my rear side so far, I am excited to fall into more of a relaxed routine around here! Flowers, events and sports have been keeping us busy – along with trying to get some projects done – all good things but often time they get interrupted.

Of course, I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers to share some Friday Favorites with you all!

Favs from the week!

We’ve had a busy FUN week! First up, family wedding time! My husband’s brother had his wedding this past weekend and it was a blast! Such a beautiful day celebrating a beautiful couple!

This pic cracks me up….

The kiddos were able to hang with their cousins from New Hampshire and they loved every minute of it!

Muffins with Mom was a highlight of my week!

I had some Mother’s Day orders to get out – SHOUT OUT TO MY MOM FOR ALL HER HELP!

The sunsets have been gorgeous recently…

…as are the glowy early mornings around here.

We had preschool graduation and let’s just say I’m not okay. The years are just going too fast. I’m so excited for JP to start his new chapter of school, but these precious innocent years of freedom are now dwindling.

Ugh, how much bigger he got…

Off he goes, skipping into school!

After graduation we went out for breakfast to celebrate the little grad! He can never just smile and sit still for a pic!

Fav Foodie of the week…

My brother and sister in law have been on their honeymoon in Italy and we are just about ready to try and recreate all the dishes they have been sending. My gosh the food looks amazing!

In the meantime, this at home steak salad hit the spot big time! Local tomatoes and lettuce YUM!

Also locally grown strawberries….nothing better.

Fav Clothing of the week…

I have been waiting to take pictures of some cute summer clothing I’ve got recently, but my room is still a mess!

I did love this dress I wore for the wedding over the weekend!

Also, love these Walmart shorts! I think they’re sold, but they are incredible!

In the Garden this week…

TULIPS are DONE! Oh my gosh, that was a wild ride. Another successful year of tulips – now time to order bulbs for next season!

Got some planting done with week too! I think we’re in the clear from frost!

We have a fun little weekend ahead – getting the pool ready for opening next week, sneaking away to a bridal shower, and a birthday party for my two nieces! Next week, summer begins!
