It’s Friday and we’re finally seeing all the green grass, tree buds and flowers again after our crazy snow we had this week. Looking forward to normal spring time temps and even hitting 80 degrees next week (normal, right?!)

Visiting Gigi!
We were SO happy to finally get to visit Gigi (my Grandma) after not seeing her for almost 2 months! Things got crazy, we were in Florida, got the tummy bug, so we were keeping our distance but I cannot tell you how happy the kids were to see her and vis versa.
We door dashed some Chic Fila and hung out on the back porch! I cherish these times so much!
Hello Summer Hair!
I get a partial balayage every year (it grows out so well and limits the need for touch ups or additional treatment so I protect my hair) and I am SO THRILLED with how it turned out! I love how natural my stylist makes it look – feeling fresh for the summer!
Fav Foodie of the week…
Chicken broccoli rice casserole! I forgot how much I love this meal! So easy to make and just what we needed to warm us up this week!
In the Garden this week…
Other than a blanket of snow?! Ugh but thank goodness I have all my little plant babies protected inside! I am going to be ordering my compost and topsoil for delivery this upcoming week (10 cu yards…yikes!) and pick up some lumber for those raised beds on the side yard.
The seedlings in my garage are taking off big time!

This spring weather has been so up and down. I can’t believe you got snow! What a fun visit with your Gigi. I love your hair! I was thinking about doing something like that with mine but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I hope you have a great weekend!
Right?! I was shocked and now 80 degrees next week, but that’s spring in the Midwest! And thank you so much… It’s a partial balayage which I feel looks more natural and not as drastic!
