What’s Up Wednesday [05.31.23]

It’s been quite a spring honestly! Don’t know where that time went, but happy to share what’s been happening around here!

What We’re Eating This Week…

We had a cookout Monday, tacos yesterday and I haven’t gotten around to thinking what we will have today and the rest of the week!

What I’m Reminiscing About

The beginning and end of the school year and how little these kiddos looked.

JP lost his baby face 🙁

Audrey grew and swapped out her baby front and bottom teeth for some adult ones…

Now if I can only find that chalk board thingy again…

What I’m Loving…

S U M M E R weather. My goodness it has been absolutely gorgeous! We LOVE the freedom of summer – no morning rush, just slow free mornings!

What We’ve Been Up To…

Well now that were done with school, graduation events, last day of school events – we’ve been able to slow down a bit and get things in order around here!

We had some landscaping done, which is something we will most likely end up getting done every May – it was so helpful!

Remember how this bed started?!

We got the pool deck painted, new furniture together and placed on the deck!

I’m proud of it!

We FINALLY got our pool water in check – some levels were WAY off and it made cloudy opening!

I completed Mother’s Day flower orders – it was a lot of fun! 2,100 tulip stems later – I’m thankful for the flower harvesting break!

Teacher appreciation and end of school year bouquets!

We cleaned out our second garage with the help of a dumpster! A lot of maintenance around the property!

We had a family wedding that was an ABSOLUTE BLAST!

This doggie got a nice summer trim!

What I’m Dreading…

A long flight to Hawaii!

What I’m Working On…

We leave for Hawaii soon (just my husband and I) so getting things in line for the kiddos and our family who is so graciously watching has been on my list! Cleaning the house, getting organized – I’ll get there this week!

I’ve also been planting my garden beds out – so excited for things to start taking off!

What I’m Excited About…

SUMMER! The kids and I have come up with a loose schedule that we are so excited to share with you! Summer can fly by, we can get busy and sometimes bored, so in an effort to make it fun and make memories we’ve come up with some schedules, ideas and a bucket list! Can’t wait to share that with you!

Also, we love a good summer festival! I’m sure we’ll be finding those!

What I’m Watching/Reading…

NOTHING! Maybe we will binge Ted Lasso, The Chosen again and read a book on this upcoming trip!

What I’m Listening To

Windows open – the peaceful morning! Birds chirping – sun shining!

What I’m Wearing…

When my room is clean – I need to do a try on! All the summer things though! Invested in some cute golf clothing as well!

What I’m Doing This Weekend…

We are playing in a golf outing, then we leave for Hawaii!

What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month…

June is truly a beautiful month and I want it to go S L O W so we can embrace this summer as much as we can!
