What’s Up Wednesday [01.31.24]

What We’re Eating This Week…

This week’s meal plan:
– Spaghetti, meat sauce and garlic bread sticks
– Ranch chicken (stop back tomorrow to check out thee easiest chicken recipes ever!)
– Salmon, mashed potatoes and salad
– Chicken meatballs and gravy
– Pizza

The kids and I are also making homemade cake pops using this recipe! We can’t wait to give it a try!

What I’m Reminiscing About

I’ve shared that I am really trying to enjoy winter and our seasons here, but I can’t help but reminisce about summer…

…and exploring. I love all this time together with these kiddos.

With Spring Break coming up, we haven’t figured out if we are going somewhere just yet, but I thought back to this trip…

We had the best time in Hilton Head at the beach.

What I’m Loving…

Per usual. I love this stuff – it’s on my face all winter long.

What We’ve Been Up To…

We’ve been making Mom and Dad proud at school with excellent report cards and the Difference Maker award!

We’ve been organizing some problem areas in our house!

We’ve been enjoying the winter weather…

We’ve been enjoying basketball and cheer!

We’ve been enjoying lego competitions! Super fun! We set a ten minute timer and build whatever we can using one specific color! The kids have loved this!

And puzzles…we love our puzzles around here.

What I’m Dreading…

Not much at the moment! I am cookie manager for Audrey’s Girl Scout troop, so I’m thinking things might get a little crazy here in the next couple days.

What I’m Working On…

Getting Valentine’s together for the kiddos. I shared some cute finds yesterday!

Also, starting seeds for the 2024 growing season! I need to button some things up before the spring season begins – so so excited!

What I’m Excited About…

The Chosen to come out again….

And also, the final season of Outlander…

What I’m Watching/Reading…

I need to find a book to read – I do miss reading, I just never make the time for it!

I’ve been loving this coatigan recently. I forgot to snag a pic from a girls night I had last weekend, but I loved the look!

What I’m Doing This Weekend…

We’ve got ANOTHER busy weekend ahead of us! Basketball & cheer, Basketball games, a garden club meeting and a winter gathering with my Dad’s side of the family, which I’m excited about!

What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month…

February will be a fun month! We would like to do something fun President’s Day weekend, so excited to figure that out!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these pants! I wore them this past weekend (didn’t get a pic) with that coatigan I shared above and a chunky boot. The pants are so flattering and comfortable!
