What’s trending around our house lately? Lots of time outside and in the pool! I used to be more lax when it came to putting sunscreen on myself and the kiddos, but now that I keep it outside in a little container so its easily accessible!
Here are some of our favorite sunscreens we’ve been using recently:
Alba Botanica – Hawaiian Sunscreen
I LOVE the smell of this sunscreen! I apply this all over my body and save this for my face…The kids also request this spray too. Great reviews and EXTREMELY affordable!
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen
This sunscreen does not leave a white residue or leave my skin feeling greasy. I use this on my face and occasionally will put it on my shoulders if I need extra protection
Neutrogena Sunscreen Stick
The kids absolutely love this – I lather it on their faces, nose, ears. Its super easy to rub on and they don’t mind me doing it at all!
Here are some of our favorite swim protective items:
Suit Solutions
Since purchasing some bathing suits I actually care about – I’ve been looking to ways to protect them. In the past, my suits would become see-through, stretched out and crunchy!
After swimming, I stick our suits in a tub of cool water with a little over a capful of the solution. The directions say to swoosh it back and forth then I drain the water and lay it to dry. We’ll see how this works – it had good reviews so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to add this extra step to swim suit care.
Coco Cabana After-Sun Spray
Again, love the coconut beachy smells! I spray this on Audrey’s (and my) hair after swimming to help make our hair smoother and less tangled!
After Swim Shampoo and Conditioner
I purchased this shampoo and conditioner set for my husband and I. This definitely helps my dried out hair and leaves it feeling smoother and shiny!
and this swim 3-in-1 bottle for the kids. I particularly notice Audrey’s hair feeling smoother after using this!
That’s what’s trending around here lately! Hope you are having a great Thursday!
