We’ve had sooo many peaches around the house from our Peach Truck pick up a couple weeks ago! Some of the peaches were starting to take a turn for the worst, so I decided to make some yummy peach desserts. I LOVE apple crisp, so the first recipe is a spin on my apple crisp recipe I love this time subbing out apples with PEACHES!
The second yummy peach dessert – Baked Peaches with Whipped Cream – was made by a family friend and I just HAD to make them! She was kind enough to send me the recipe and WOW are these good! Shout out to Nicole – thank you for sharing!
Peach Crisp

The Peaches
- 6-8 fresh peaches (peeled, pitted and sliced)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of applesauce
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- dash of salt
- dash of cinnamon
Crumb Topping
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- dash of ground nutmeg
- dash of salt
- 1/3 cup cold unsalted butter, diced into small cubes
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Peel, pit and slice peaches. Add to a bowl. I just added to my 8×8″ pan to save washing an extra dish!
Coat the peaches with sugar, applesauce, flour, flour, vanilla, salt and cinnamon

Combine all crumb topping ingredients in a bowl

then cut in the butter with a fork or a pastry blender – the combined ingredients should become a “crumb-like” consistency

Pour crumb mix over peaches and spread evenly over the top.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and top is set.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving

Would be tasty with some vanilla ice cream on top! YUMMMMMM!!!
Baked Peaches with Homemade Whipped Cream
Okay, this recipe is EASY PEASY and so so delicious!

- 4-5 peaches (halved & pitted)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2-3 tbsp of sugar or powdered sugar
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
Half and pit your peaches

Place in a zip lock bag and add vanilla, sugar and cinnamon

Coat all the peaches in the ingredients and let sit for 15 minutes

Place the peaches face up on a cookie sheet

Bake for 25 minutes – but my friend recommended cooking a little longer to get them a little more “charred” – I think I did about 5 more minutes!
While the peaches cook, add heavy whipping cream, sugar and just a splash of vanilla to a bowl

Whip the cream for about 3 minutes until stiff peaks form, set aside in the refrigerator

Once the peaches are baked – let them cool about 10 minutes and top with the whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon!

ENJOY!!!
