Today I’m sharing a little weekend rewind! I love that this blog also serves as a journal and I’m sure in the future we’ll enjoy looking back at these posts to see what was going on!
Jungle Terry
My sister-in-law had seen that a local entertainer who shows off all his animal friends was going to be doing a show at a mall near us! We are so so happy she informed us because the first thing my husband and I said to each other Saturday morning was “my gosh, what are we going to do with the kids today”. If you’re like us and dealing with winter months with no where to really go, you know most days can feel daunting.
I encourage you to stop back here tomorrow to check out my new winter “series” of blog posts to help deal with the “winter blues”
Any who, we met up at the food court for lunch and then walked down to get a seat
The kiddos were all ears for Jungle Terry!
I had one child requesting a python by the end of the show…
…and that would be a hard NO!
The kids really enjoyed the show and fell asleep in the car!
And I returned home and immediately changed back into my PJ bottoms.
Browns Game
We enjoyed a cozy afternoon watching the Brown’s (so bummed they lost – but a great season though!)and waiting for our yummy crock pot ribs to finish cooking!
I thought these turned out DELISH, but my husband felt they were a little too sweet/saucy for his liking. I had to remind him, these were boneless ribs not a smoked meat pulled pork sandwich!
Home Tune up
We kicked off the weekend by thoroughly cleaning bedrooms and mopping the floors. It felt SO good! I also grabbed some roses at Aldi to start the weekend off right.
The other thing that motivates me to start the week off right, a nice hot coffee! One thing I love to do, put me creamer in my mug before brewing. It will automatically mix your creamer for you!
Birthday Celebration!
This weekend we celebrated my brother’s birthday and the kids per usual have the best time getting together! We always do our birthday celebrations after church and have an awesome breakfast!
