Are we sick of me talking about planting and gardening ALL.THE.TIME?! (I’m sorry, I just love it!!). Thrifty Thursday today is all about these tall rattan planters from Aldi. They are seasonal and back in stock now – R U N! When you compare these to the price and style of other rattan planters on Amazon (for example), these are literally dirt cheap in comparison ($103 v. $16.99)

There are $16.99 a piece at Aldi – again, excellent quality and the perfect size!

Last year, I purchased five of these containers and put one on our back patio, 2 flanking our front door, one next to the pool steps and one on the pool deck.

Here they are holding my Boston Ferns. Not sure why this is the only picture I took all season last year, I guess it’ll do.

They also have a shorter square size that would be perfect for putting plants on steps or tables. This size is $12.99 a piece. I was lucky enough to find one of these at a garage sale last year for $3, score!

The last thrifty item I want to share with you is this storage accent table. We keep it in our gazebo and it holds random odds and ends that don’t have a proper home out there, sunscreen, towels and poker chips. It is the perfect storage table and for $29.99, you can’t beat it.
